I've been thinking of my own sequel to the Mass Effect trilogy that would be a science fantasy narrative. It would be Shepard and/or the Normandy crew joining forces with magic users against supernatural dangers. The various implications of the existence of the supernatural in the Mass Effect universe use be a great source of story ideas for this kind of narrative.
Anyone have any input or ideas about this?
