A kind of batarian/predator character would be very nice, tactical cloack, submission net, shoulder cannon, harpoon sniper rifle.

I haven't met a Volus yet that I didn't like and would love to have one on the team.

I hope there is more than six. However with six.. we know one is Krogan already and one Asari right? So I hope for Drell and Turian with those. I'm hoping that there is other Milky Wayan aliens in the crew as well. Salarian scientist, Volus salesman and so on.

My must would be a male Quarian.

Slightly lower on my desire list, is a female Turian, than a Batarian (male, female, who care).

 

A Krogan and a Salarian would be great, too. Or a Dreel. (here, too, I don't care for the gender)

 

I think the only race I'm not interested in having in the team is an Asari.

Mostly I'd like new aliens now but I wouldn't say no to a Batarian squadie. Oh and Krogan of course

I want as few squaddies as possible irrespective of the species or where they originate from, as I'm not convinced BW can do justice to a large team of recruitable squaddies going by their past writing efforts., as some where along the line, content will no doubt be cut as it's happened before, & some one will get short changed as a result.

Boo down with the Asari and anyone who wants them. They should go extinct.

 

Obvious sarcasm aside I'm not too thrill about another Asari squadie, just kind of tired of them in general but as long as she is written well I can't complain much and it seems a chunk of the fan base will be happy with an Asari squadmate again.

 

On that note aside from the Krogan I'd really like squadmates to be species we haven't gotten to hang out with a ton, but that's my current mindset at the moment, might change down the road.

I'd like to see a drell in actual battle armor rather than that one jacket they all wore in ME2 and ME3.

It's very likely we're getting a krogan (Drax) so I'll list what other aliens I would like;

 

 

Male turian (cos long fringes are cool)

I would like him to be a bare-faced outlaw, a Turian that doesn't care about his culture and feels no obligations towards his race. Unusual since Turians are raised with a strong sense of duty to their kind and the expectation to put their individual needs aside for the greater good. While most of the survivors remained on the ARK vessel before colonization, opportunists and criminals broke away early once new planets were found. Hoping to get an upper-hand in this new galaxy ,many died and got lost venturing out in small numbers. Some managed to survive away from the ARK however and this turian was born and raised in the wild west environment in Andromeda. He has learnt to survive on his own, doesn't care about other turians  and looks out for himself. You want him on the team because he understands and has adapted to this strange new galaxy better than most. He's not a people person however so getting him on your good side will take time.

 

Asari

 

She's a police officer on the ARK  who cares about protecting her citizens and doing the right thing. She joins you because the team needs some law enforcement, we're picking up some unsavoury types so she's there to make sure no one kills eachother .  She admits herself that she's not exactly the strongest biotic but she's tough and her tenacity and her fighting spirit more than makes up for it. She's also a cute tomboy and routinely voices her annoyance when others make assumptions about her being an asari. She's used to being around different species, it's part of her job so unlike Liara and Samara she gets humans and is easy to talk to.

As long as we get a hard-ass Asari Commando I'm good.

This. After seeing those commandos in action on Thessia, I really want an Asari commando for a squadmate. However, being a "hard-ass" is not as important to me as her maturity. I would like her to be more mature, at least entering or already well into her matron stage of life. I would like her to be at a point in her life where she is very certain about herself and her choices, like Samara was very certain about herself and her desires in life, only this time I hope she is a love interest.
