Here's the composition of the team I want.
(Doesn't really count)
Asari - The red shirt who dies in the first mission. She'll be a surprise since it's usually male humans that get offed. No one will see it coming. An elitist who boasts of the superiority of asari and thinks they should be running the Andromeda mission. After she dies, no one misses her.
Humans
Male Human - Blond, tall. Suave charmer, James Bond type who loves to talk and tell stories. Specializes in sniper rifles, can also rally with passives to increase damage and health for squad. Also a biotic, has techniques like Warp. Romanceable by women.
Female Human - Redhead. Explorer type who believes the future of humanity is in the stars, and loves the discovery of new worlds, prepared to fight for them. Wealthy and helped finance the mission. Specializes in tech, specifically drone-based combat and disabling techniques such as Sabotage, Cryo Blast, and Damping. Medium health. Romanceable by men.
Female Human - Dark hair. Broken bird type who's lost a lot, been betrayed by many people. Runs the greenhouse and spends a lot of time with plants, who never abandon her. A tech best used on biological foes, with Incinerate and Neural Shock. Light weapons, low health. Romanceable by both men and women, but evolves slower than other races.
Aliens
Female Turian - Dutiful soldier type who follows orders, even if she doesn't like them. Believes in the turian animist belief, and the spirit of the Andromeda mission, that she personifies as the ship. Comes to terms with things she doesn't like. Combat heavy with assault rifle, ammo type, and grenades, high health. Romanceable by men.
Male Salarian - STG operative who specialized in demolitions and neutralizing large targets. Pragmatic and ruthless, believing honor to be quaint and best served in plays. Manages intelligence on the ship, allows modification of missions for expended resources. Uses Shotguns, ammo type and grenades, medium health. Not Romanceable
Asari Matron - Scientist type who bonded with salarians and grew to love creating tech, rather than relying on Prothean handouts. Runs the labs and handles upgrades. Light weapons, low health. Uses a mix of tech and biotics like Stasis and Singularity. Romanceable by men and women.
Male Quarian - An exile from the flotilla, a biotic who consumed too many resources and never seemed to fit in. Discusses the prejudices among biotics even among those who supposed would know better. Uses a combination of tech attacks best suited for mechanical opponents and biotics. Romanceable by men and women
Male Drell - A biotic who was sent to serve via the Compact. The hanar lorded over him, and he resents it. Strong with weapons and ammo, high health, minor biotics. Romanceable by women.
Male Krogan (don't really want one, but in the trailer) - A shaman who learned the wisdom of his people, and accepted the genophage as a weapon used in a war. Does not resent the use. High health, focusing on defensive powers and grenades. Not romanceable.
Non-Squadmates
Male Volus - Works to establish the colonies to be financially successful and independent. Slimy businessman, many think he'll mutiny, but he's a red herring. Not romanceable
Female Hanar - A peaceful hanar who works to network the different colonies, and sees to their growth both spiritually and culturally. Not Romanceable.
I would like to have a male Quarian companion very much.
Since there seemed to be one running and gunning in the background of that trailer, and in a couple or at least one of the concept arts (not to mention the potential leak), a krogan squadmate is sounding fairly likely, right?
Think it's very likely there will be an Asari squadmate, and a human male and a human female too. (this is speculation only though) And then I think it's fairly likely there'll be a Salarian as well, this line of speculation being based on that one tweet. (tenuous of course
the guessing game is fun though) Probably a male one.
In terms of what I most want to see... male Quarian and female Turian. And then (I know this goes beyond the question since they're not from the MW) one or two Andromeda-species squadmates.
I think this is going to be one of our new alien team mates

Or Solas wandered into the wrong game XD
Based on the new teaser trailer, what if everybody sent representatives of their species and/or enough breeding pairs for a sustainable population of every species?Female Turian.
Batarian.
Female Drell.
I'd also like to at least interact with a Raloi, though that doesn't seem likely unless they made another game in the Milky Way.

If Shepard was Space Jesus, then I guess it's only appropriate that the new protagonist is Space Noah.

If so, how will the genophage for krogan be handled I wonder. Given that curing is optional

Why doesn't anyone understand what the Genophage does? It's not making the Krogan go extinct. It reduces their fertility rate to a less dangerous level. And the whole point of changing the setting to Andromeda is to get away from the repercussions of ME3.
Huh, didn't think about that...LOL. I don't know how they'll fix it, although frankly if it's representatives of every species then I could see the Krogans demanding the cure before they leave so that thier is enough of a population to sustain themselves.
How would the Krogans be in any position to make demands?
"We'll only let you save our species if you concede to our demands!"
Doesn't make any sense.
As unlikely as it is, I'd really like to see a Batarian squadmate voiced by Billy Brown and a Krogan squadmate voiced by Roger Cross.
Preferably none. We've seen them already, time to move on. If any, Drell. We've seen them the least out of the big ones.

It kinda seems like we are only going to see two new types of aliens, so not nearly enough "meat" for a full squad.
Also, I would hate to see the new aliens designed with "romancability" in mind. They Should be Aliens first.
4 Asari, with PC Asari as well.
No love for the Volus? Shame on you, guys
I want a biotic god like Niftu Cal ![]()

Personally, the way Volus were included as fighters in ME3 MP, was rather stupid.
I mean, they are hilarious enough, but can you take them seriously?...
If we had instead Volus warriors / pilots encased in massive suits of power armor, that would have been something to see.
As it is they are a bad joke.

I tend to agree, although I might just be jelly that I didn't unlock one...
Reapers.
I WANT A ROMANCEABLE MALE BATARIAN.
Geth/IA/EDI-like character. Syntetics are cool, and why don't make him/her/it romanceable? I thought that EDI's conversations with Joker were awkward but also really cute and interesting, story-wise speaking. In addition, Legion was CLEARLY in love with my FemShep, heheh.
Female Turian
Female Salarian
Male Quarian
Fem Drell
I'm hoping for something different than what we had in the previous games.
-A badass hardcore Salarian like the one from the Redemption comics or a female Salarian
-A female Turian
-A female Krogan
-A male Quarian
-A Batarian
I don't want another Asari squadmate. We've had one in every game so far and 2 different ones overall (4 including Morinth and Aria). But that's probably not going to happen.
A Volus warrior showing what an alpha male he is seem like a good idea.
