Anyone excited to see what Bioware and ME:A can learn from Fallout 4?

Ah well. Vivec, Divayth, Yagrum and Dagoth Ur were all very memorable to me even to this day. But, with a game that is as dated as Morrowind and was mostly encompassed by written dialogue and a lack of voice acting, I can see why memorability isn't noted.

I have no idea about Fallout, the only Fallout I've touched is 3, even then I only made it to Megaton and quit out of boredom.

I haven't played the game since it came out, so my memory is pretty fuzzy. From what I recall, we didn't really interact with Dagoth Ur, apart from that one last scene. I don't remember a lot of interaction with Vivec, either. A cool concept, as I said, because I think their background was great, but as actual characters, in the sense of people to talk to... I don't think they stood out very much.

The Railroad are a pretty silly faction anyway. What with all that's happening in the world, their biggest focus is... android rights? I mean, making it one of their goals would be fine, but they seem so fixated on that for no real reason besides the fact that it's what they do. Grass grows, birds fly, sun shines, and the Railroad dedicate their entire lives solely to freeing Synths. At least the Brotherhood is smart enough to branch out from their ''sit in a bunker and hoard technology like a sullen kid hiding his toys'' shtick. Most of the time.

Are the Minutemen even a faction anyway? They're mostly dispensers of generic Radiant quests until you ****** off the Institute or Brotherhood, and then they materialize to help you murder them. As with many things in Fallout 4, the idea is nice and the potential is there, but it's ultimately squandered by Bethesda's game design/writing and we're left with a bunch of boring and nondescript NPCs doing your bidding because, well, why not I suppose.

The Minutemen are a faction as much as Yes Man was a faction. They exist mainly as the players personal army, and as a way to complete the main story if you accidentally or intended to get rid of the other factions.

Hey all I can say is Bethesda ain't fiddling f*****g around with their games. I love their franchises because they've put versatility and modify their games on every release. I will look forward to play Elder Scrolls VI!!
