I am playing the game for the second time. Femquisitor elf warrior 2h.
My first playthrough was on launch day and i finished the game on mid january.
My feelings were great the first time around but got toned down quite a bit near the end whre the game faultered as the end mission was lazy. Also the whole fetchquest complaint although true kinda teared me down. People were upset, and quite justified imo.
Plus witcher3 (one of the best games ever imo).
SInce then i waited for DLCS as it is proven to me that Bioware dlcs really add to the game , (me3 was waaaay better with all the dlcs, its a different game seriously)
Same will apply for Da:I . i am certain as already with tresspasser installed the whole trial thing really rejuvinated the game for me since i found it easy enough back then (i play on nightmare with FF, imo the only way where Dragon age games combat really shines, oh the tactics!)
This time around i know what to do, i already have a plan on how i aproach the quests.
I have always scaled enemies and this works wonders! Halving the XP via the trial was needed!
I DO read he war table missions, most codexes and ALL sidequests and .....
the game feels god damn GREAT, i am hyped , i love it!
Many things make sense on a 2nd playthrough, i see things i did not notice the first time around; ambiemt dialogue tthat forsehadows events to come, simple quests (fetch) that DO make sense, and the atmosphere ..
its still there!
I love the graphics (not the skin and facial animations however), the levels still feel the most beatifull (they even top witcher3 imo but witcher3 is still damn close) and the level design is SUPERB.
Chose templars this time and this story mission was just as epic as Hushed wispers. Looking forward to see the difference in enemies.
All characters are great: Sera, dorian , Cassandra are ace even in bioware standards. No game makes characters like Bioware games and dragon age inquisition proves that.
And i ve yet to play any DLC.
I could go on but i ll just leave at this:
Dragon age inquisition is really a great bioware game, it deserved the praise (and the questing design critisism in that matter),
Test of time: Revisiting this game again feels great. I applause.

Even though there is no replacement for a first, spoiler-free play -- especially if you're like me and made an effort to avoid spoilers before release -- I usually find the second play more enjoyable. I can pay more attention to miscellaneous details, do things that I now know would have yielded a better experience for me if I had done them the first time, and so on.
