the most notable one is "Investigate Therinfal Redoubt", it has to be started at Haven. I would assume it would be the same with "Investigate Redcliffe Castle".
One quest that dies by itself if not done before Skyhold is "Apostates in Witchwood", the magical barrier is still there but the camp is deserted...
Any other examples ?
Templars to the West and a bunch of War Table operations.
I think Apostates in the Witchwood and Templars to the West are closed after IHW or CotJ, so before Skyhold.
But yeah, mostly the war table missions. I always try to do all available missions before moving on to IYHSB.
