Just one final salute and thank you for all that you did with the Multiplayer in the limited time you were given.

Plus having a name that has both a Star Wars and Final Fantasy 7 character in it.

I hope other people follow suit.

Kudos.

Yes Luke, thank you for all your work!  I appreciated the transparency and haste with which you dealt with things.  We loved your work on actually balancing the game and the new content.  I hope we will see you on ME:A MP.  Don't listen to those haters on Twitch.  Playing a game you haven't played in a long time, on a hard difficulty, with a right-handed mouse is not easy.

Now I will always wonder why Luke wasn't given a machine gun for a hand after it was sliced off.  What a wasted opportunity.

Here's one I made of him when he made my dreams come true!

There were several requests I put forward and he made reality... Like Poison buff, Arcane Warrior Nerf, Poison challenge and a few more.

You were the best St.Bluke... How dare you abbandon us!  :bandit:

Spirit Blade was tweaked something like 3 times.  If you ask me, all that needed to happen was to nerf Fade Shield a little bit.

Never was fan of bashing SB,so I didn't even notice that nerf.Fade shield would be completely another story, although with Qunari assassin around, sometimes even fade shield can't help.

The best thing about there being no more support is people can't be a**holes and whine and salt up all over the shop about a character being OP anymore, great! ;)

I always loved peoples approach, it was never, 'I'm aggrieved by people killing stuff and acing me on the scoreboards' (because that honestly was peoples issue, and frankly who's looking at those anyway?) but always 'Won't someone think of the children, and the state of the game, and diversity, and there's no challenge anymore if I play a certain kind of way, blah blah blah' :)

If someone wanted to play a character in a boring one dimensional way, great for them, doesn't mean you have to.

Should point out this isn't directed at anyone specifically, just the great salty mass that bayed for blood back in the day when we still got skill updates :)

Hmm, my "great" English language skills bit my own tail :D

I used word "bashing" instead of "mashing".What I wanted to say, that I never liked to play pressing only SB button.

But,yeah I leave my bashing only for the leaderboards, although after Parthian "enlightened" me,I don't enjoy it as I used to.Plus, many players leave DAMP for greener pastures,so it is imminent that I''ll land onto LB one day.

Thanks for the support everyone, couldn't have done half of it without the help of the community.

Couple notes before I slink back in to the shadows:

1) Certainly not abandoned, I'm just working on a 'future' project (that I can't talk about) - you will certainly see me pop up again here at Bioware at a later date

2) While I'm not working on ME:A I am trying to give them the tips and tricks I've learned with our engine relative to MP and some things to do or heavily avoid (that list is much bigger)

3) I should have practiced a bit of ME3 before I played it :pinched:

yeah me3 was such an awsome game and so similar to dai yet totally different, the mp side of me3 had many better features and many worse features to daimp,

lets hope in the future releases only the good parts make it through (me3's weapon progression and faction /map/difficulty selection for starters) it would be nice if a future publication could also have at least 4 expansions and support cycle that lasts for more than 12 months

there both epic games and hopefully both ME:A and the future DA projects will build on the successes of both current games :)

Hey Bioware, still waiting for you to revisit Jade Empire!

Honestly, I'm rather torn on that one. While I would love to see that style of combat redone in a BioWare epic, that game was made in a different era of BioWare. While they still tend to follow the similar formula popularized by KotOR, Jade Empire, ME1, and DA:O, I still have concern for arbitrary "check box" features that BioWare tacks on to games, like the multiplayer trend a few years back (that fortunately saw success with ME3) or the current open world trend that didn't work so well with Inquisition.

If they designed an updated combat engine that felt fluid and beautiful, wrote an awesome new Chinese-mythology-inspired story, and left it at that I'd be good. However, the concern that they may feel the need to add arbitrary multiplayer, a diluted open-world quest system, or whatever new gaming trend happens to be the thing at that time does make me gun-shy.
