Hello friends.

First, I'm a very, very bad person and only own DA:O and Awakening. No DA2, not DA:I. I know... I know... I'll fix that soon.

So, I have a few questions.

I have some characters saved in DA:O and Awakenings from a while back. I want to completely get rid of them. I want to start fresh again. BUT, I do not want to lose what I have unlocked through earlier playthroughs (like Blood Mage, Reaver, that sort of thing). I won't lose those right? Since the achievements for those are unlocked, it's now permanently part of my profile?

Speaking of profile... Good Lord what is this tapestry thing? I tried messing around with it, and it recognized my character names, but it had some things wrong. I stopped messing with it. Two reasons: 1. I have no idea what it's for beyond showing off and 2. I can't quite remember all my choices accurately. And as I said, I do not own DA:I, so there's nothing to export to. And I don't want to accidentally screw it up, in case I buy DA:I soon and it interferes.... Ugh.

I have every DLC there is for DA:O and Awakenings, including that special armor as a thank you for having purchased Mass Effect 2. As I recall, there are some pretty powerful items in your inventory right from the start, specifically 2 books that each add 1 point to things that normally you wouldn't have been able to add. My question is, how to deal with these items? What should I use and when? I don't want to use something powerful too soon... or too late?

Last thing. One of my characters in the past I did a complete playthrough in what I read was the right order, and it not only included base game and Awakenings but also those little side campaigns. Will all those items carry over even if I delete characters?

Sorry for wall of text.

Also, what order should I play?

Leli's Song (since it's in the past) -> DA:O -> DS Chronicles (since story wise it would be fresh) -> Awkenings -> Golems (because it'll be easier with import) -> WH?

This is assuming I do not mind spoilers, since I already know everything now anyway.

Sigh, I am so sorry... Another thing...

Let's say I want to go the Loghain route. I want Alistair to be King, married to Anora, and I want to force Loghain to join me. I also want to hold off RTO until this is accomplished, because I want Loghain with me when I go there.

1. How do I do this? I know some people need to be hardened. How do I do this without straying too far into being a jerk?

2. How fast can I do this without being too gamey or exploitative? Without interfering too much in a full experience?

Lastly, what's a decent order to do the ingame DLC? Some say Soldier's Peak to get the stash right away. Also, is booking it right to Wynne ASAP to get her as a healer early a good choice? Some hae suggested that. I just hate breaking things or causing disconnects in story.

If my questions seem naive please forgive me. I played through in 2010, then again in 2013. That's been about it.

I always like starting my games as a person that knows nothing of blights, Greys or  Leliana's colorful past. In short a average Elf living a normal Elven life until everything goes South in a hand woven basket.

As far as your other question I use a PS3 and there's no way to import the skill trees from a previous game. Maybe there  is mod that allows that for PC games?

I think on PC I can still use Blood Mage and Reaver even after deleting characters because it's tied to profile achievements.

For the dlc order go with : Darkspawn chronicles-Leliana song(will give you some items for the main game) warden keep-the stone prisoner-return to Ostagar-Awakening-Golems of Agmarak  and finally witch hunt.

For having Alistair and Anora rule jointly with Loghain becoming a warden you'll have to harden Alistair during his personal quest and there's nothing jerk about it.

Just leave RTO until you recruit Loghain And that's about it, if you want to rush just do the main quests.

As for Wynne i myself do the broken circle quest first so yeah i do tend to get her as soon as possible.

If you are playing on the PC, I have actually not only deleted old character files, but have uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, learning the hard way not to alter the game coding too much with mods.   <_< I kept all unlocked stuff like the DLC items I earned, all the specializations I learned, achievements etc.  Even getting a new computer and installing it there, I didn't lose any of my old unlocks.  I think it was actually stored here on the BSN.  This was the old BSN though, so I am unsure about now.

You probably just need to log in at least once to the servers to link everything up and sync it?

Moving from one platform to another, not so sure if the information is transferable.  I've only played on the PC.

I think as long as you are logged in to the DA servers when you play, your account knows what your achievements are (so long as you are using the same log-in user profile).
