"Cut out of game" is just confused. That stuff isn't ever going to be in the games in the real world, unless something else is cut to make it fit the budget. I suppose EA could nuke oroduction values back to 2005 levels and make more content, but in any dev cycle there are going to be ideas that can't fit the game budget.

Just remember that during production, content gets cut out for many reasons... game pacing for example. Though, no doubt legit content gets cut and turned into a DLC.

Microtransactions shouldn't refer to legitimate story DLC (or even non-story but a lot of content-DLC)... That just confuses the whole thing.

There's a difference between paying $2.55 for a chance at a skin in Halo, CoD or CS, than paying $15 to kill an immortal in The Witcher.

That said, y'all will gobble up even the turdiest of turds (I mean the ME appearance packs? LOL), so EA is probably right that people can't get enough of microtransactions. Just stop complaining if you're not willing to do anything about it. You sound like the people upset that a CoD is released every year but buy every single CoD.

Let it rest.

But there won't be microtransactions in Battlefront, that's good

That won't really matter considering how bad the game is.

- Lack of campaign, galactic conquest, instant action, space combat

- No classes, replaced by weapon selection, consisting of assault rifles and pistols...

- Stupid card system that makes the sniper a weapon any one can use rather than a class

- Vehicles are now card pickups, call this nitpicky, but it breaks immersion

- Walker Assault is complete unbalanced garbage

- Lack of ground vehicles (speeders, AT-ST), where are all the crazy tanks in Battlefront 1-2

- No Clone Wars (I hate the prequels as much as the next guy, but the clones and droids were fun to play with, same with the worlds)

- No death star map, no dagobah, no yavin 4, no corusant, no Tantive 4

- Crappy horde mode that is one of the worst versions I have ever played

- Terrible space ship controls

- This one is EXTREMELY nitpicky, but no bumper jumper control scheme

Either way, the beta confirmed my suspicions the game would be garbage, shame considering the first two titles were so great. A battlefield reskin would have better and closer to the originals than this one is.
