After "Demands of the Qun", if the Chargers are saved a conversation option at Skyhold with Iron Bull opens up if one has the perk "Underground Knowledge". As I recall, it involves urging Iron Bull to utilise his contacts for information quickly, before the Qunari can cancel them.
Does anyone know if this leads to any difference with the war table missions? I haven't noticed any.
No but, asking Krem how you can use the chargers periodically gets more missions.
That seems a wasted opportunity, to me. You pay influence to gain the inquisition perk; it opens up a new conversation option, which you choose - then there is no in-game consequence whatsoever!
That's why you let the Chargers die. Every time.
