Doesn't this look a city from the original Mass Effect trilogy? Should there be an environment in Mass Effect Andromeda that is a big futuristic city like Illium or Bekenstein?

Looks like a mixture of Bekenstein and ME3's Presidium.

Yes, there should. The Illium gameplay maps were among my favorite in the entire series. They should feel like they belong in another galaxy, however.

I think I saw something like this in an episode of Doctor Who.

Well, he kind of was, considering how much of an influence he was on the art design.

What, the Disney and Tommorrowland logos weren't enough?

Anyway, did you know Syd Mead designed the Tron bikes?

The Catalyst and dream sequences were such horrendous plot devices in ME3 that you must have blocked them from your mind lol.

From what we know of the game, probably not.

This is not the Citadel but some concept art for Nasa from 1975.

I'm sure Mass Effect draws various inspirations from tons of scifi films, as would other games and films. So it's not surprising to see similar stuff out there.

Well... Star Child.

That was NOT a child!

We all know that kid never existed and it was all a dream.  And in ME5 we'll be playing an alien who had a weird nightmare of being an ugly human soldier. Mark my words.

What, the Disney and Tommorrowland logos weren't enough?

Dude...

No I didn't but I do know he worked on Star Trek Nemesis I believe the last of the TNG films which also happens to be my favourite one although that might have been Sid Dutton now I come to think of it. Been a while since I watched it though.

That's because they used that concept art of a Stanford torus as direct inspiration for the Presidium.
