Why does Bioware discriminate against polyamory?

I do believe that is what the reviewers thought of the game, but I think the problem is they don't look at the games the same way we do for they play so many.

I suppose that's a factor, gaming review sites tend to look at things more commercially.

They know a game like Fallout is going to sell in high numbers, it's better to give it a high review score. It's going to bring in people to read their reviews, subscribe to their magazines, etc.

No, but huge differences between player review and company is very telling. A company like Bethesda would not surprise me. It economical influence from game businesses to reviewers do happen. Now, granted, they aren't directly buying the reviews, but it's the same as lobbying for a politic.

I dunno why you're tossing the term "conspiracy" around. I just see it as a business practice.

You can compare my belief over business practices to conspiracy theorists if you wish, I'm not going to stop you, as presumptuous as it may be.

Like who? You mean yourself cause your the only one making claims of the intent of something featured in game you havent played.

Nope. You're very quick to dismiss other people's guesses. Clearly you think you're the one who knows the true intentions of the developers.

Also in my first post I was having a guess, not a claim. Learn the difference.

Now pinpoint where i ever implied this. Cmon on now dont hurt yourse---want stop, you cant as i have yet to address if the polyamory was intentional or out of lazyness in F4(although knowing Todd the latter is 100 percent facts). I dont care im merly point out that i find it funny how people assume things about games they havent even played.

Something about the word pander and minorities in the same sentence while arguing about discrimination just seems like an amateur troll.

I hear Bethesda buys reviews, so probably that.

Would explain why Fallout 4 gets so "OMG BEST GAEM EVUR" numbers from companies, but user score on Metacritic is in the red and there's tons and tons of negative steam reviews.

Or maybe they just think that about the game. I mean I'm guessing there is a reason 20 million people bought skyrim the majority of which were on a modless platform.

Why people get so upset whenever a game that they don't like is liked by others I don't know.

And on steam it's mostly positive reviews with the negative ones almost entirely made up of people who encountered a big bug which will be patched in short order.

I'm not upset if people like Fallout 4. I accepted long ago that people like the trash Bethesda puts out.

Buys reviews? That's new, the most heavy handed practice that I ever saw proven beyond doubt was publishers blacklisting reviewers who've scored them unfavourably and giving those who've scored favourably priority with hands-on material. And Bethesda is hardly exemplary, this practice or some form thereof is ubiquitious.

And lol Metacritic. Why this isn't yet renamed into review-bomb.com is beyond me. And tons of negative Steam reviews? Oh dear, never trust a statistic you didn't falsify yourself. Yeah, there are a couple thousand negative reviews ... and offset by more than tenthousand of positive reviews (last I checked, 78% of all reviews were positive).

There's plenty legitimite critique you can point at FO4 (such as my game being unplayable due to driver crashes every five minutes), but what you just brought up is about as solid as a handful of air.
