It's almost the same, but it often bothered me that some armor piecies had colored sections that couldn't be changed. Most notably the Kestrel armor. It has white sections that can't be changed. Same with the Capacitor helmet too.
Anyone think the armor coloring system isn't as good as ME2?

Overall you can do more with ME 3's it has more colors and more pattern styles but at the same time some of the colors just look better in ME 2. If you like to go black the black armor just looks better in ME 2. I wish you could tint it like you can in the multiplayer.
