Melee Drellguard. Not everyone will like this but if you want something different, you could try a build like this.

This is quite similar to my TB bandit.  But I just boost the melee...not a full commitment.  Just wouldn't feel right to me without that Fitness 6b speed boost.

Ancestors damn those green grenade stealing parasites (equips AM3 and GCV on QMI and engages orbital bombardment mode).

Yup, the title sums it up rather nicely, with an exclamation point!

I don't need to outrun him, he needs to outrun the Arc Grenades that I lazily lob into spawns through 10.4m of wall all the way from the ammo boxes he isn't using across the map.

Should that somehow still fail, (it hasn't yet) I know a couple guys who are pretty good with the Talon Merc and Striker Destroyer that will certainly be able to eject him from my lobby so he stops stealing the grenades that are rightfully mine.

... You're aware a DrellGod on AM III will likely outrun those nades too, aren't you? :P

The second tactic sounds more solid XD

no doubt, but the 2nd grenade obliterates everything on impact when it arrives. The speed addicted frog takes at least the amount of time it takes to charge, then reload cancel a Claymoar with a cluster nade between kills.

I'm pretty accurate with my orbital bombardment. It hasn't failed me yet when I needed to assert my unquestioned superiority, even against Cain Mercs.

but yeah, there's no defeating the other two if they've any idea what they're doing, and honestly on second thought.....I'd probably rather take the nade stealing frog than share a lobby with either of those scumbags. At least he's entertaining.

You clearly haven't played with the right Drell, yet ;) You should migrate over to PM Master Race for MEA, so we can complain together about the lack of Quarian and Drell! ;)

Speaking of Talon Mercs, I still don't understand why everyone seems to think it's so powerful. I have yet to see anyone do nearly as good as some people here describe...

Send me some components that I can macguyver into a working PC which is better than the potato I have now.

334 MOTHERFUCKING GETH Drive. Xen clan territory, Moreh Continent, Planet Rannoch P.O. 328176

If you know spawn mechanics to a reasonable degree, it's basically a legal missile glitch. So EZ, and nothing like even the other powerful kits. At least Arc Grenades don't melt bosses, and GI sort of makes you aim in the general direction of the enemy, rather than the general direction of the planet they are standing on.

The answer to this conundrum is to equip Drell with Arc Grenades.

So here's another question about drell that I hope won't be too stupid.

I've recently tried DAI, the last of the three frog brothers that I haven't deployed yet and immediately fell in love with him. I imagine my comrades on field hate me quite a lot because of it, since I seem to be blowing Recon Mine quite often, but since he often has to carry their sorry asses to extraction, they don't really get to complain :P

I run him with Black Widow and sans Homing Grenades. The rest of the build seems pretty straightforward, except for one part... passives, fourth rank. I always go with weapon damage, but I'm wondering if power damage might also be a good choice. Granted, RM is usually enough to kill most mooks in one cast and those 15% won't make much difference on bosses, but it makes me wonder... is it worth taking over the weapon damage... ever?

I also take 4a, but admiteddly quite as an habit with infiltrators. I know Slasher takes 4b for his Arc pistol speed runs with the DAI, but it's possibly more about the force needed to stagger Phantoms and goons than about the damage. I don't know about his BW build with the DAI.

^ I take 4a, 5b and 6b for BW DI.

I go with 4b only for some solos. While I used 4b and 5b in a lot of my solos; 4a and 5a might be better. Recon mine has enough force to stagger phantoms without 4b

Yeah, I guess that headshot bonus is overkill in many situations with an Arc pistol / BW DAI.

^ 5b with BW allows you to OSK some enemies that you otherwise can't. That's why I went full weapon passives in gold solos with BW (unlike most other DI solos).

i say 4a+5a is better than 4b+5b because a generic weapon damage boost is better than a specialized HS bonus. And they are largely interchangeable without giving up too much.

Does Pull's 6a (+ 75% BE damage) actually increase the damage to ALL targets hit by the Biotic Explosion or only of the pulled enemy ?

The text does clearly suggest that it is only the pulled one. But if that was true, what would I need that evolution for ??

btw, sorry - I think that this was already discussed in some Justicar - thread. But I am unable to find it.

Sorry, didn't see this. I believe pull bonus to BEs work the same way as all the other bonuses, i.e. it works for everything hit by the BE.

BUT. My memory's known to have become hazy, so I wouldn't take that 100%.

Same as deerber here, and only reason to try the pull acolyte justicar build on plat for me. So i hope the bonus work, cause i have struggled quite a few times with this build.

that would make a pull | Shockwave explosion the strongest of the game.

... and still pretty strong on the Justicar without the help of Warp or Shockwave.

... and the only reason for me to take pull (because I try not to use the Acolyte anymore and instead just pick one unshielded Mook, in the hopes the explosion hits the whole group)

well, it s allready quite a struggle to pull them reliably (phantom/marauder/captn...) after acolyte on plat ...

i guess the acolyte makes it a little difficult too, cause catching that marauder in the middle of a spawn ...

I used this tactic on gold on unshielded mooks and it is OK (area pull)

cannot be used for every spawn, of course.

I skip clusternades and put 6 ranks in pull because charging then tossing grenades is some boringshit imo

You're just envious of the awesomeness that are clusters compared to those poor lift ones
