Photo-realistic faces would be a detriment to the immersion because the aliens would look weird and clash with the fidelity. Look at the trailer for the Warcraft movie.

As much as that would be something I would want as well, Battlefront I don't think has nearly the same amount of characters and detailed animations that Mass Effect will.

There is a difference between using one animation 40 times and having two NPCs around a screen having a conversation and animating that conversation.
As much as that would be something I would want as well, Battlefront I don't think has nearly the same amount of characters and detailed animations that Mass Effect will.
That does not make any sense, but I agree with the guy you qouted.
It would a failure (expected, coming from BW) for ME:A to look more like DA:I than SWBF. They have a knack for butchering the engines they work with.
