I just want to be able to sell the junk consumables I don't need. That's it. I get that teeny little option and I wouldn't hate the current store nearly as much. Give me one good reason to hang on to 200+ level 1 cryo mods when I could just sell that crap for credits. Low level ammo, mods for weapon types we hardly use, gear we don't use, a good chunk of those....what was it...255 consumables we can hold at a time? I'd wager that half the people on this board are sitting on a goldmine of junk.

That's a good idea, after a while you sit on a ton of useless stuff you never use.

Agreed, although it would be more simple and faster if we could just buy what we want in the first place.

One other late change done to the DAMP store was with the potions once you hit 255 those ones stop appearing in the chests except for health potions.  The "Superb Requisions Chests" contain 8 Items with 1 Guaranteed Rare and 8 potions.  So you'll always get 8 potions but what you get will be targeted at what you're missing.  

 

If the same happens again then there is a reason to keep the crap.

RNG has one benefit...at least slowing down the influx of one Harrier to rule them all

 

Without RNG I wouldn't have learned to like the Javelin (which I maxed in the same pack buying session as the Wraith way back when)

It isn't perfect and the grind for the latest Prime stuff is very real but in the end you don't have to pay unless you want to.  

And part of the reason I stopped playing. "Oh, you have a potatoed frame/gun with 4 formas in it? WELL HERE'S A BETTER VERSION OF IT. Time to grind some more so you can grind some more to pimp it out again!"

 

Also, re: anyone talking about how bad the DAMP store was; to me, the badness of the store was exacerbated by the fact that there was an inventory cap. I know it got better around the time i quit with an increase in the cap (and maybe something else? being able to sell an item when you get it?) but it was really shitty to have to trudge thru the annoying inventory UI to sell some garbage armor mods that are at the at the very bottom of a list that takes forever to get thru, just so I could go back into the store and buy ONE CHEST and then have to do some more inventory management all over again. ugh.

The RNG is annoying, but I'm always excited when I unlock a new character or get an N7 weapon.
