So we have 3 options with the chargers.

Option 1: We save them and Bull becomes Tal-Vashoth and they continue as an amazing mercenary band.

Option 2: We save the dreadnought and that's the end of them.

Option 3: We ignore this companion mission leaving Bull following the Qun and Bulls Chargers alive and well.  This is the option I want to ask about.

In this play through Iron Bull still followed the Qun as a result of me ignoring the companion mission, the Bulls Chargers still operated around Thedas.  During the final push Iron Bull turned on me.  There was no slide to say anything about Bulls Chargers after the events of Trespasser.  Does anyone here have any ideas?

Bottom line is if you save the dreadnought or you ignore the companion mission and Bull stays in the Qun, he will turn on you in Trespasser. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Whether or not he is still in the Qun appears to be the driving factor. Even if you are in a romance, if he is in the Qun, he turns.

I suppose in a play through where you don't do the companion mission and Bull turns on you, in the end the Chargers just disband or go work for someone else, and one never hears from them again.

They are executed for their chief's actions.

Possibly the inquisition, if Bull is Tal-vashoth they do mention joining officially...

Really?  Has this been stated?  Noooooooooooooo

I was joking. But it isn't confirmed what happens to them in this scenario. Trespasser was lacking in storyline.

Were they there at the Winter Palace if you didn't do Bull's personal quest?    If so, then Krem must have mentioned about officially joining the Inquisition but not doing so because of Bull.    So if he turns on you then I presume that would leave the way open for them to do so, provided you don't disband the Inquisition.   Unless they feel it better not to stick around because of his actions.    If they stay together as a mercenary band, then I assume they would rebrand themselves; Krem's Chargers perhaps?   Or may be something no so obvious, so people definitely wouldn't make the connection between them and the Qun spy who turned on the Inquisition.   Hence hearing nothing further about them.

They were there in my one game where I didn't do Bull's mission but Krem said nothing about wanting to officially join the Inquisition. I don't remember if they did the birthday gift.....seems like they did not but I could be wrong.

Edit to add: they aren't mentioned in the epilogue slides.

They probably break up as a mercenary company. Can't be a Bull's Chargers with no Bull.

I imagine, that if it is ever adressed that it will depend on the fate of the Inquisition.

If the Inquisition doesn't disband they, or at least some of them, might join the Inquisition since they did serve with them for so long, even if their leader turned traitor.

If it is disbanded I imagine that they will either disband entirely themselves or reform into a new name under Krem.

I assumed they carried on under Krem's command and kept the name, Iron Bull tried to kill the Inquisitor but it's probably not common knowledge and they loved him.

It is common knowledge going by the slides, there's one about Tal Vashoth mercenaries facing extra suspicion because of the betrayal, as well as one about a Bull romancing Inquisitor getting mocked for their gullibility.
