I think each of these have been expressed in other threads in different ways, and around the web, so I don't claim to be the first to think of these and send them out, but I also couldn't find one place where I could just say "Yes, I agree", cast my vote and be on my way.

First, I'm still very much enjoying DA:I, but as I played, I longed for some features that I thought provided depth to past entries in the series:

  1. Dual Wielding Warriors
  2. Specializations Specific to each companion (possibly inaccessible to the PC)
  3. Robust Tactics System

A few general improvements I'd like to see:

  1. Have more zones evolve like the Hinterlands did as I 'cleaned' it up. I felt like my PC was really making a difference there more so than in the other areas because it wasn't just about clearing out the bad guys, but also providing support and assistance to the citizens and refugees there.
  2. When I go to a city, make it feel more like a city and less like a sub zone. Val Royeau was pretty lack luster in this respect.
  3. More cross-zone quests. It gets a little stale to me to have zone be so self-contained from a content/quest perspective, it make it seem like a collection of small worlds more than a single vast world with points of interest.
  4. If we do the sending agents out thing - it feels dumb that I can only send agents to one place at a time, less so for Cullen, but for the other two it seemed silly.

A story setting I'd really like to see at some point:

  1. Few things would make me happier than the chance to walk the deep roads and explore the dwarven empire at it's height. Ditto (but less so) for the Elven society.

If you don't do these things, I will continue to enjoy your games, but as a long-time fan of the series, it would be gratifying to see some of this come to pass or at least be considered for implementation in future titles.

I second the comment about Val Royeaux/Cities! I understand that after DA2 some people were tired of cities, but Leliana talked so much about how beautiful Val Royeaux was in DAO that I was pumped when I got quests to go there. I thought what was there was beautiful but I was imagining that it would be its own zone with quests and it was not; just merchants and the odd stop by for something. It was also only one district and I wanted to meet with the peasants and laity of Orlais as well as the upperclass. It would have been nice to be able to walk by the main palace as well, have angry guards tell you to get your scruffy ass away xD. I saw in the Art of DAI book that there were originally plans for a larger city with its own quest-lines and an "undercity" as well, but the creators thought it was shaping up to be too much like Kirkwall (though, from what I saw, I don't agree; Varric's right that Kirkwall, even it's nicest areas, doesn't seem like a particularly showy or beautiful place to live). I understand their decision, but I would have preferred some more interactive capital cities to the Hissing Wastes or the Forbidden oasis. I was also hoping Val Royeaux might also have a rumor/approval system, or that there might be an approval system for the different countries (how they feel about the Inquisition finally comes to light in Trespasser, but as the Inquisition grew in power I often wondered what the Queen of Ferelden and the Empress of Orlais thought about this extrajudicial religious army camped between their borders during the main campaign).

I'm looking forward to finally see Minrathos though :)
