I don't know if I would play it but I wouldn't be bothered by its existence.
Would you support a stand alone, online Mass Effect multiplayer game?

If it was not developed by Bioware and it was another genre, yeah.
So I guess...no?

There is a major hurdle for an idea like this. During the conversation about Dragon Age: Inquisition's demo which was the Hinterlands and PvP it is also only on the PC. One of the reasons mentioned was that EA would have to still pay Sony and Microsoft for the downloads so there would be an initial financial loss with every download of the game. So unless there is an upfront charge for a multiplayer only aspect of the game, it would only be available on the PC since EA controls Origin. If they do charge for it they might as well include it with the game itself.

No? Is this question serious... ME3's multiplayer was so small how could be a standalone game? Unless it was a F2P throwaway with microstransactions.

I'd love to see it as long as it's got enough depth and content to be a standalone title.

Yeah, something like ME3MP is fun, but not substantial enough to be worth a standalone title, not by a long shot. It's just various arenas and random tasks during waves. It'd have to be a proper MMO with big open territory, more options for character customization, etc.. I don't want to grind for the hope of unlocking a krogan or turian character.

Yes.
I think it could easily be a standalone game, with more: Classes, maps & weapons.
And maybe even a social hub (like the tower in Destiny) where you can find other players for missions. Maybe the hub has a gun range to test weapons. Or various shops where you can exchange items you have no use for, for credits.
Still, I wouldn't even need it to be open in anyway. Co-op horde, to me, is more than enough to suffice.

Sounds like a good idea. I wouldn't buy it or play it, but yeah the MP team can properly develop that game leaving the SP team to develop that game without the two having to cross over. Or MP cutting into SP really since it's a one way street.

No, I like both experiences and they need to keep it together to give Sylvius the Mad a chance to try it out.

Wouldn't microtransaction revenue cover that?
Didn't Warframe do alright on consoles?

Considering the fact that I spent more than 1,100 hours in ME3's multi-player, I'd say yes.
Under ONE condition, however. That it keeps the same cooperation mechanics. A maximum of 4 players in a team, in horde mode. That's for cooperation. Now, with a dedicated game you'd need way more content and game modes. So you'd have typical 'deathmatches', things resembling capture the flag, hold the point, etc. That's a given (and it's alright). I, for one, wouldn't care one bit about those. Give me a rich content-filled horde mode, with TONS of character customizations (NOT via microtransactions, but simply via in-game credits as we progress and play more), many maps, and the option for the host of the match to change several map settings (number of enemy waves, types of enemies to appear, day/night setting, weather effects like fog or rain, or snow/sand storms, etc) and I'll be more than happy to pay full price for it.

I wouldn't be interested in a purely MP Mass Effect title. The MP was a fun side activity in ME3 (not so much in DA:I), but SP is where I spend almost all of my time.

I probably wouldn't play a stand-alone, but I'd be fine with them going that route. I realize that some people prefer this game mode and I like to be an inclusive gamer. So sure. What little I've played of ME3 multiplayer was pretty fun and given the nature of Bioware games (party rpg with some action game influence), it seems like a good way to workshop combat mechanics for Andromeda. I can live with that.

Those are really two questions I cannot answer since I don't deal with any of these companies, I am just repeating what I read when people were asking about the Dragon Age: Inquisition beta on the PC and why they weren't bringing it to consoles which it sounded a lot like what was suggested here.

I wouldn't play it (ever), but I would have no objection to them making it.
Not even for charity?
Truth be told, I want to see some more games set in the Mass Effect universe. A RTS game, a space-simulation game, something in that vein is always a good thing.

Meh.
Played some of the MP, both in ME3 & DA:I, and was not impressed at all.
The annoying endless grindfest and the constant networking / hosting / lag problems killed it for me.
Now a turn based strategy/tactics game similar to X-COM, could be interesting.
