I know there is a good number of french players here, and I'm pretty sure there will be someone from Paris or who has some loved ones there.

I would just like to express my deep sorrow for what happened. Don't give in to dark feelings: I'm sure the thoughts of everyone are with you, tonight. I know mine are.

Stand strong. Stand fast. Stand together. :)

The media guessing game with "experts" speculating who and why has already begun, just like Boston Marathon

Let BSN stay classy by showing support to our French squadmates and not get caught up in the media BS. Terrorism is horrible but I have no doubt you guys /gals will rise above it eventually.

Condolences to the fallen.

Terrorists target civilians...

Good hunting to the men and women in arms that now have a long hard job ahead of them.

...It's not civilians that will be coming after you.

It's hard to think of something comforting to say here, as my reaction to such events to to muse over how it is our governments, and/or terrorist groups (the same thing in some cases), not each other, who are really at war here.  And I don't want to turn this into a political rant.  I can say that it is sad and unfortunate, and I hope no one here was affected, either directly or indirectly.

I will stand with my French Compatriots.  Call on me, and I will be there with you, I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite store on the Citadel.

Only cowards kill unarmed people in the street.  These perpetrators'  mothers will be ashamed of their sons.

The French people are strong.  I have faith in their resilience.  Vive La France!!!

Because the video you  posted links on to a performance of Scotland the Brave, I am forced to counter with the only national anthem that can beat it. This is dedicated to Alphonse and Uutoqq:

Stay strong friends from France.

Yep I offer my condolences and my thoughts are with everyone affected. Truly horrible pieces of human filth and that's the PG version of what I want to say. I know my PS3 buddy Chainsling is in France and I'm sure I have others I know from ME3 there as well. Why does this planet have to be so cruel? It's incredibly depressing to ponder.

I guess i ll happen quite few times here and there in europe, and i guess france is a natural target. Heavy weapons are available from east europe and africa, well, it s still far form the us case i guess, and maybe the right to be armed might come as a new topic here if those events multiply. And we have quite the number of jihad candidates... I m just a bit surprised they seem all well trained.

I guess Belgium will be hit soon enough.

(Btw, yet nobody i know of was in a bad spot at the bad time yet)

Thanks Deerber, and to all the persons who give support messages. We french will stand together and strong in those events, and continue to live our lifes. Terrorists have never dictated us what we must do, and they will never do.

This came to my mind yesterday, as I was trying to find sleep. I hope it will not get that bad.

I used to live there myself, I love that city and the people living there, this criminal act is beyond words.

Every single member of IS etc needs to be hunted down right now.

I'm feeling pretty numb today. Not only is my partner from the outskirts of Paris, but being Northern Irish myself, I've already lived through a version of this supposed 'Holy War' crap once in my life.

I see no hierarchy in the loss of human life, but given that I don't regularly communicate with the dispossessed of the Middle East I am not in a position to offer love and support to any of them directly. Meanwhile, I can and do empathise with the fear and confusion felt by my French brothers and sisters - of all colours, creeds and religious beliefs.  Soyez forts et ne vivez pas dans la haine.

I would like to add that these ******* terrorists (ISIS) do not represent the 1.6 billion peaceful Muslims around the world, and they are just a group of twisted individuals who are just sick in the head. They have been killing muslims in Syria and Iraq and are now expanding their operations in other countries specifically high profile European countries, so be aware and take care. Please do not be angry at Islam or Muslims, Islam is a religion of peace and these ******* are as far away from Islam as humanly possible.

I spent the night trapped near the location of two terrorist attacks in the "11e arrondissement", things were scary. But I would like to reassure the people on this forum, France generally is a safe and welcoming country. Don't be afraid to come visit us ! Things will get back to normailty, just like they did in New York, Madrid and London.

No effort should be spared in exterminating all these terrorists, who are harming Islam and the vast majority of Muslims who are peaceful.  I have many Muslim friends and relatives.  Not a single one condone what these terrorists are doing.

The USA trained and supplied them originally

Whether or not we are still training and supplying them is the topic of conspiracy theory.

I love the idea of America, but it is not working as intended.  Someone needs to press our reset button.

The French and Spanish supplied the Americans originally, which is why they are responsibe for the Korean War.
