Perhaps not uncoincidentally, I found it next to the last codex for Chronicles of a Forgotten War.
That is amazing! ![]()
I guess we've solved the mystery about the forgotten war.
That's...creepy actually. I found the skeleton as well as the codex, but didn't see that on the ground.
Are krogan heads becoming another cheese wheels -like existence in dragon age series? 5 krogan heads I know in DA series:
1. DAI MP
2. DA2 MoA
3. DAI winter palace
4. DAI the castle in cassandra's personal quests
5. DAI Descent
What!!Don't forget the DAO Ogre in ME2: Stolen Memory.
Don't forget the DAO Ogre in ME2: Stolen Memory.
What!!
Oh, that cracked me up the first time I saw that. What's Kasumi's line? Something about seeing that charging at you?
What!!
In Hock's vault.
You find it at Halamshiral in the trophy room. There are other places where Krogan heads can be found in Inquisition, but I forget where now. One was mounted on a wall like a trophy. It makes me wonder if the forgotten war and the mysterious lizard people are just game crossover jokes about Krogan, and everyone wracking their brains over where they fit into the lore is wasting their energy.
What!!
A statue.
4. DAI the castle in cassandra's personal quests
I don't remember a krogan head in Caer Oswin. Where was it?
I can't remember exactly where, but according to Wikia:
During Promise of Destruction in the Castle of Caer Oswin, in the corridor where you meet Cassandra's apprentice, go to the eastern end of the hall, and there is a krogan head mounted on a wall.
Krogans everywhere! ![]()
Uh....this may sound stupid, but, what the hell is a krogan?
An alien from Mass Effect.

Ahh. OK. Thanks. Don't play that series so I had no clue. ![]()
Yeah. Here, look:
THanks. My own Trilogy playthrough is still nowhere near ME2.
Uh....this may sound stupid, but, what the hell is a krogan?
As was said, an alien race from Mass Effect.
They're known for having redundant organs and nervous system, increasing their resilience to extreme amounts, and their health regeneration is a thing to behold (though if you focus fire, they can't regen fast enough for you to not outdamage it - still, ammo and powers that deny regen are handy pieces of work). Additionally, they just LOVE fighting. Most of them are either fighting clan wars on their homeworld of Tuchanka, or hire themselves out as mercenaries, including Wrex, who is a lot more wise than your regular Krogan. He eventually goes on to become the Krogan leader (if you don't kill him, you savages) and preaches peace and rebuilding for the Krogan race.
Just to illustrate, I think I got this rather correctly in my fic (that I haven't updated in over a year, despite having a few more chapters written since - bad, bad me) where the protagonist, a Quarian Commando uses a rifle that usually tears right through shields and armor, usually killing instantly - a bit like modern .50 BMG and comparable rounds. Yet when encountering a Krogan Battlemaster, the rifle only takes him down after two shots (well, three, but Krogan Battlemasters biotic barriers are a huge thing, really... Two for most Krogan).
*shrug* All I've to say.
Ahh. OK. Thanks. Don't play that series so I had no clue.
You should, it's different from the DA series but in some aspects better ![]()

Wow. I had no clue. And I thought I was quite the DA explorer.
I did find the Ogre in ME though. :-)
What kind of Krogan gets killed by a dwarf?
