Or should all main characters of mass effect be bad at it?
Should the main character be a good dancer?

So long as I have reach and she has flexibility.
Wait, what was the question?

This makes me realize that there should have been a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers tribute scene performed by Shepard and Liara.

Look, we know a lot of people are worried that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be far too detached from the original trilogy, so I think the least BioWare could do is have the protagonist be the spiritual successor to Shepard's prodigiously awkward dancing skills.

Female protagonist should be, male protagonist shouldn't be - I mean come on, it's sci-fi, not fantasy.

How good? Drake tier skills would be an improvement though.

Sure. I like for my main character to be able to dance the Merengue and Tango

Should dancing be even included? Cause I don't it serves another purpose in the games than being humoristic: Shepard can't dance. If protagonist can dance well where is the humour and purpose then? And even if they dance badly that would be just recycling Shepards joke.

What if our protagonist was a professional dancer before joining the military?

Only if I can teach the Robo-dance to local synthetics.

I would like to see Bioware go with a different mundane flaw/failing to counterbalance the absurd combat prowess/negotiating ability in an attempt to humanize the PC.
Also, I for one am hoping we can throw down like this;

Would be more interesting having stuff like dance or acting (if it ever came up the need) be a minigame.
Something like this tecnically
Something simple just like piking locks or doors (like those little minigames that have disappeared from ME3 without reason). That way, if our character is good at dancing is a matter of choice-player ability, and not preimposted.
