I was wondering if anyone has tried running NwN under the very latest version of VirtualBox (5.0.10)? It is supposed to have improved 3D support. If you have, how'd it go?

Never tried the game under virtualbox, but the server does work fine.
I don't imagine it would work perfectly - many games require/desire direct access to the gpu hardware.
Accessing it via virtualized environment probably wont provide as good a gaming experience.

Well, NWN is working glitch-free for me using the latest VirtualBox and a Windows XP SP3 guest, but the framerate is only 25-30 FPS using the bundled VirtualBox video adapter (128Mb).
So yeah, maybe give the 3d support a few more years if that isn't good enough for you (it isn't for me)...
