It's easy to lose track of time while gaming, and Alt-tabbing out of the game to check the time is annoying. It's also completely unnecessary. It would be easy enough to put a clock display on some unobtrusive corner of the screen.

Please consider it for DA4.

What is a wristwatch?  Is that like a crapple watch?

A regular watch...that goes around your wrist...

Or any watch will do. Or any clock. Or your phone.

There's one in the top right on the Origin overlay.

People tend to play games while they are in their homes relaxing. Wristwatches (or other jewelry) aren't accessories most people associate with leisure time.

If this were something that would take a lot of programming to implement, I would understand the derision the suggestion has received thus far, but it isn't. It's two or three lines of code. If you wanted to add a toggle to display the clock or not, it would probably add another dozen or so, but they would need the template for the toggle for other things that have toggles anyway, so the work is already done.

While it may be somewhat useful for some, would likely annoy others. Besides, a clock on a wall, on the desk, or other nearby location in the room where you play games in would be of greater benefit.

Besides, adding a toggle to show something on a GUI for a clock requires a bit more effort than writing a few lines of code. It would also need to be designed to fit the rest of the GUI design and tested to ensure it doesn't cause an issue in the rest of the game.

I didn't mean to come off as derisive. I would just think that the player having any type of clock around is a simpler and more elegant solution. And probably why this isn't a common request and developers don't put much thought into.

Why would they do this though? On console you just bring up the menu (at least on xbox) while on pc you have the origin overlay.

Or have a clock near you.
