Mhhh, i talk specificly about the quarians in one of my vid. But dont feel like looking for it.

 

It basicly comes down to this:

 

Not possible if escape theory isnt true.

Highly unlikely if the escape theory is true. <--- most likely case.

 

A couple of reasons are that the ship is made probably so that the races will be able to keep on living. But the quarians wont have enough people to even repopulate because almost every quarian is on the flotilla and all the others are scattered all around
