The voice actress for Andomeda must be Courtenay Taylor,  ( subject Zero from ME)  it's the best suitabe voice for a character representing a species invading and conquering a new galaxy, it's perfect!  :D

How about no. I've been listening to her all evening in VTMB game and I definitely don't want her voice for the protagonist in MEA. I prefer something new this time.

I absolutely adore Alix Wilton Regan. Loved her as Traynor, and was ecstatic when she got cast as the female Inquisitor in DA:I. Hopefully she has the range for a non-British sounding military type also because I think her acting skills are beyond solid.

Beyond that, Kari Walghren has always been amazing. She gets most attention for playing Fuu in Samurai Champloo, but one of my favorite performances of hers was in the Halo 2 ARG, i love bees, aka Haunted Apiary as Jan. She honestly would be perfect for a strong, female explorer/military type.

Also, I think Ali Hillis has been a mainstay at Bioware for a long time, and in the VO world in general, and had a major leading roles (Lightning in Final Fantasy; while not my favorite performance, definitely popular). She is so unique as Liara, and her normal range is not nearly as soft, so I think she could definitely do a tougher more alpha type character and pull it off.

I could go on and on...

No thanks. Nothing against Courtenay Traylor, but there are other voice actresses I would prefer.

Also, you should probably change the title to female protagonist rather than femshep.

Ciri in witcher 3 (same as femhawke) was absolutely great. SO much emotion.
Would love to see (hear) her in a role in MeA

As much as I like for that to happen, it won't. She most likely would voice an npc(s) in the next game

There's a few good choices I can think of:

1. AWR.

2. Tara Strong.

3. Alona Tal.

4. Janet Varney.

"Voice Actress for Femshep in ME:A"

OP, you know that Femshep is short for "female Shepard" right? It's not a generic term for a female protagonist.

Janet Varney's funny, and a good improviser too. I'm not sure if she'd make a good protagonist VO, but I wouldn't be against the idea.

I would like to see them use a VA with a different accent, instead of American or English. Why not an Irish, German or Australian?

As for voice actors, Bioware tend to hire regular voice actors (its like 20 people in voice over land). I really hope Laura Bailey (Bianca/Dagna/Kira Carsen) would be up for it.

I don't care what type of accents, I just want a chance of different accents and to play several different versions of the character.

As for male VAs, anyone who isn't trying so hard to be another version of Nolan North (Jedi Consular) or Mark Meer (BroShep). I can't stand another session of extremely dull monotonous delivery. Make me happy Bioware; I want my boys; Bertie Carvel and Brian Bloom and Steve Blum.

She didn't do a good enough job as Korra to play a protagonist in a game?

Not exactly what I would consider my 'definitive' choice, but yeah I'd see Courtenay Taylor doing a good job for a female protagonist, or perhaps for a deuteragonist. She did a good job as Jack in Mass Effect 2 (and in ME3 as well but of course her best work for Jack specifically was in ME2, in my opinion). And for a more recent reference she's the voice of the female Fallout 4's Sole Survivor (protagonist). In fact she's good enough that I absolutely didn't recognize her at all in Fallout 4 until I actually searched for the information and had my mind blown when I found out. That's similar to when I discovered that our beloved Jennifer Hale was in fact the voice of Krem in Inquisition (which was a total surprise, and that's a good thing for voice actors, if you can identify their voice in multiple different characters it usually mean they can't voice differently-enough to distinguish their characters from each others). And, you know what guys... now that I'm thinking about it, Alecia Hillis would be very interesting for a protagonist this time around (that's Liara's voice actress by the way).

On and side note, and Interestingly enough, I named my female Solve Survivor in Fallout 4 Jennifer.

Too high pitched and chirpy.

I'd prefer a deeper more authoritative voice, like Sumalee Montano or Ashleigh Ball.

I actually prefer Sumalee's voice for the Inquisitor for this reason as well. I think Alix did a fine job, though.
