Kris Holden-Ried, thought he did a good job in Syndicate. Also Sam Witwer would be cool choice as well. I just hope its somebody new that wouldn't sound too much like somebody else in the previous trilogy.

I believe Rich McDonald would be a great fit as Ryder for the game. He voiced David Mason in COD: Black ops 2 (yes it's a dispicable franchise with an Micheal bay esque campaign in nearly all the games), yet I was very impressed by his performance in the blops2 campaign because it's just that type of voice you would gladly hear all day (except for the blops3 male protagonist voice like it got to that level I wanted to kill myself so I switched to female and I was blessed with her performance). So if Bioware is sticking with NA VO accent for Ryder then Rich McDonald can pull off a really great performance

Crispin Freeman would be nice. Dante Basco would be nice. Wouldn't be against Adam Driver either. Meh I guess everyone would be fine as long as it's not Mark Meer. Not that I have a problem with the guy, but replacing a human only protagonist voiced by him with another human only protagonist voiced by him would be a big turnoff.

Jeez, I can't even imagine the expense with six voice actors across all possible characters.  However, DAI had four, so I guess it's possible.

 

As far as obtainable VAs go, I think Troy Baker could be a good choice.  I really liked his performance in Tales From the Borderlands and the voice he supplied for Revolver Ocelot in MGSV is perfect for a hard-boiled hero.

I also like Troy Baker. Some people are getting tired of having his voice everywhere but I'm not against any of the choices, beside reusing Mark Meer.

Gideon Emery. He's got a very memorable, attractive voice. Like Claudia Black. He's voiced every second NPC, but has he been a protag?

 

I also kind of want a Southern American voice like Ben Browder or Andrew Lincoln. I just think they sound good.

Ryder being in a far unknown place surrounded by hostile aliens and political situations he can't understand is very Crichton esque

 

That and no one can do sarcasm like Browder.

A bit of trivia: Mark Meer voices several salarians too. One in the Virmire camp for sure.

He also does many of the Vorcha. He's a lot more versatile than you would think from his performance as Shepard. He voices two characters in Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition and he's almost unrecognisable:

I'd definitely like to see him back as an NPC.

As for the new male protagonist, I like the suggestions for Ben Browder, Elias Toufexis and Andrew Lincoln (in either his American or natural British accents). I'd like to suggest David Tennant too (though he's probably too busy). And speaking of Scottish Doctors; Peter Capaldi for a gruff commanding officer or the villain.

The voice may be the dude who made James Vega and the iron bull. Bioware seems to like him. Personally I like the voice of Andronikos Revel from swtor.

Freddy Prince Jr? I'll give him props for The Iron Bull but... not feeling it.
