Why do you keep coming back to the game? Just to see another beautiful Inquisitor you made? Trying new challenge/strategy in combat? Trying new romances, or alignments?

I got bored on my second play through and I know I'll play this again (especially since first time was on PS4 and I want to try PC). What are some things you love most that keep the game feeling fresh?

New romances.

And to look if I can f*** it up more with different decisions. (that Mythal really seemed like a good idea. Arghh.)

I love starting up the game to create a new face. To have that themed idea in my mind and make it a reality.

As for playing the game again. To try more romances honestly. I enjoy playing the game, sometimes I even pretend to be smart with the combat, but that sappy little lovestory is what pulls me through the game.

Once I tried them all it generally is to go through a story in my head. I hear a word, it sparks something in my mind and suddenly I just need to play a Qunari man who wears leather armor and brings justice to the world with a banana on a stick.

Love it. I do the same thing. I think it's just that the possibilities are so endless if you're willing to let your mind run with the role playing.

Music, different class, Epic moments, funny dialogue, combat , and pick different combinations for companions. I ve not use 2 warriors yet. apart from my current minquisitor who is a warrior.

I've played the game four times, so at this point I've tried each class and race and most of the major plot variations. Still have to conscript the mages and put Briala in charge of Orlais at some point.

I still want to try out the other four romances, however, and the rest of the specializations. I may end up with nine Inquisitors instead of my planned eight so that I can try all of them, especially if DA4 is as far away as it currently seems to be. Next up: dual-weilding qunari Tempest rogue romancing Sera! (I figure that having two Tempests in the party will just result in things being dead faster.)

I couldn't have put it better myself.  You took the words right out of my mouth.  Great minds think alike.  ^^^THIS^^^

Replay 1: Nightmare difficulty (platinum trophy)

Replay 2: Trials trophies

Replay 3: Different world state (in this case, an elven mage liberating mages; softened divine)

Replay 4: Different class/new inquisitor/more screenshots

Since the variations are nearly endless every new pt brings something new. Now I am running my first ever created inquisitor that I sort of dropped for others way back. She has a different world state at the beginning. Merely bringing Viv instead of Solas to Redcliffe made a big difference.

I never realized until recently the depth this game has.  I had a bout 6 early starts each one playing out differently, while on my present game (playing for completion) is different as well.  The deeper I dive into the game, the more it takes hold of me.

Dorian Pavus.

And mods. In stating mods I'm not referring to the use of mods making the game fresher, or more varied, but in the creation and tinkering around I do with them. I've started several plays only to get distracted with modding textures, or simply experimenting, that I just have to abandon that play and start fresh the next time.

I plan on different races for specific romances. Since 8 romances and 8 race/sex in total, I matched them and made 8 inquisitors so to try out.

And for different world state, different choices. I mean, I really want to meet Warden Loghain.

Also for aSSQUISITOr play through of course, it feels great to be rude to anyone, and try out every companions' low approval scene. Never need to care about their approval when making decisions anymore.

The more play through I tried, most of my original views towards the game overall as well as all those companions, quests, lore, etc have changed. Maybe because different inquisitors provide different perspectives. I hated Sera on my first playthrough but I started find her lovely in my qunari playthrough. So.

It's some kind of illness, I think. As soon as I finish the game, I start a new one. I'm not sure I can explain it.

That said, the thing that probably gives me the most enjoyment during my repeated playthroughs is looking for stuff I missed during the previous ones, and taking in the scenery along the way. I found a new chest in the Forbidden Oasis yesterday. And I wandered around the Emprise du Lion again, thinking I could almost feel the snowflakes on my face.

I have a mental issue that has compelled me to restart the game numerous times because I missed some dialogue option, I wasn't paying attention during the dialogue, there was some sort of cutscene stutter, and various other things. IT HAS TO BE PERFECT! And every time I restart I think to myself, "Geez, you are sick in the head. No matter what happens this time, you will just live with it!" But I never can.

Lack of other interesting games, so I am stuck with a very slow expanding favorite shelf that gets replaid again and again.  Shrinks again due tot compatible issues over time despite the brilliant GOG.

tbh in my opinion you've answered your own question there. Because yes this is the main reason why I do and why I return to both DA and ME to see how many different ways I can play the game and to expreience things many different ways . I've not yet played a warrior yet in DAI and as it happens I've not yetplayed a rogue yet in Origins either. I do plan a warrior Inquisitor on my next run so I'l have finally done that when I finally get  there but using the various different powers and abilities open to you and rtying to figure out various doifferent ways and tactics to use them is also part of the fun for me. There aren't many good swingleplayer type games around any more but I have to say I'm glad Bioware are responsible for at least 2 of the best ones because both DA and ME are awesome
