Entirely depends on how far into the future MEA takes place.  Even if it's a hundred years, weapons and armor should have advanced relatively.  Don't want to bring the the modern equivalent of a musket if everyone in Andromeda is armed with AK's and AR-15's.  Now if we space magic our way there in say 5 years then definitely the Venom shotgun.  Armor on the other hand I want to see all new designs 'cause I thought they all were just okay looking.

I have to admit I liked the Blood dragon armour even if it was very different... Maybe I liked it because it was different and somewhat unique being Earth street Gladiator combat armour.

Well, that N7 character is seen using what looks to be a Carnifex. Plus with the somewhat good probability that the Andromeda expedition leaves before the events of ME3, it would make sense to see more previous weapons from past games.

I would like more weapons with cooldown instead of thermal clips so inspired by ME1, the Lancer it's definitly my fav. weapon in ME3.

 

I'm not too big on N7 weapons. I would like to see though proper implementation of Asari/Salarian/Turian weapons this time around.

The M-13 Raptor!!!!  Rapid-fire rifle. IMO, best gun in the game (for infiltrator).  If not that gun, then one like it.  Maybe a raptor-type gun with a geth-type sound effect.

 

But then I wonder...will we have the same classes to choose from?  Will there even be an infiltrator class? Will I be able to watch through my lens as a the alien heads explode!  Who knows??? 

 

In terms of armors...I would prefer to see all new armors. But please keep color choices!!!

But you're absolutely right about more alien weapons. I'd like to see an entire weapons tree for each race. We came close in ME3. It's just a shame that squad mates couldn't free equip like the player can. Would have loved to see Tali use the Adas rifle.

Well to each his own don't worry I'm pretty sure they are going to bring back some of the most beloved N7 weapons.

 

Though yeah BW should focus more on alien weaponry this time around. I want to see more Turian/Salarian/Asari/Krogan designs in the beginning of the game then later due to exploration and questing obtaining powerful Andromedan weapons.

 

Overall though I hope overheating weapons are now actually an alternative gameplay choice we could do if we so prefer. Maybe through crafting? I hope so.

Probably all Cerberus weapons need a paint-job and a new operative name. I certainly don't want to see even the slightest Derperus logo.
