You made the Veil, now live with the consequences, you coward.
Sincerely,
All my Inquisitors.
Dear Solas,
Yes, the Veil is a mistake and it's probably killing Thedas but if you stopped being so stubbon then you could work with us to remove it safely.
Love,
Lavellan
P.S. Give me back my tier four gear. Dorian could've used that.

Solas actually found that pretty funny.

Possibly. The guy is something of a trickster god, right.

He trolls Sera right back during that banter by offering to teach her magic and talking about being a Dreamer (and how easy it would for her). She acknowledges that was a good bit of trolling.

The veil is not a mistake is a benediction, the only thing that Solas did well.
Dear Solas,
Stop trying to fix problems, because every single time you do you make an even bigger mess than before. Get it through your thick bald headed skull that you are not that bright.
Thanks for teaching me more about the Fade though.
Sincerely,
Janos Trevelyan
P.S. It was no shocker to me that you had spies within the Inquisition. Next time, tell them not to walk around wearing Sentinel Elven armor.
The veil is not a mistake is a benediction, the only thing that Solas did well.
Evidence?
Evidence?
Well, it did stop the Evavuris from destroying the world and the elves were technically saved, or at the very least weren't completely eradicated.
Dear Solas,
You save the Inquisitor by stoppling the mark from killing him/her.
You saved the Inquisition itself by leading it to Skyhold.
You saved the world. I wish the doubt I felt in your words was actually true.
But in all honestly, the veil is his doing. He has every right to remove it. I wish to know how Thedas would be without the veil. Humans, Elves and Dwarves all lived when there was no veil and there is no information about it being bad at the time.

There's also implications that's it's the cause of the stuff that's wrecking Thedas now. In any case, it's all speculation until DA4.

Yeah, but...
None of that might been necessary if Solas didn't give Corypheus the orb. And while I can understand wishing to learn what a Veil-less world looked like as a kind of scientific curiosity, the consequences that Solas himself mentions are super unappealing. Also, since removing the Veil involves all of Thedas I'd hope that all the races and major powers would get a say in deciding whether it should be removed and not just Solas and his agent regardless of whether he made the damn thing in the first place.
Sorry, if I intrude on your personal letter to Solas.

Thedas is getting wrecked? There's rampaging Archdemons, earthquake causing Titans, demonic invasions, Red Lyrium and a bunch of wars, sure, but the people of Thedas always find a way to stop it from destroying the world.
Remember. Demons, Red Templars, Venatori, Hakkon, Corypheus and even Archdemons. They all die screaming when they try to "wreck" Thedas.
Solas better watch himself.

There's been implications that killing the Archdemons will cause something worse to happen.
But like I said, it's all theory until DA4. The DAI has made it clear that Solas is neither a hero nor a villian. What if tearing down the Veil is only way to stop something worse from happening?

THEN WHY THE HECK DOESN'T HE TELL ANYONE!!!
What will happen if the Archdemons are killed?
What will happen if the Veil isn't destroyed?
That coy, mysterious crap was annoying when Kieran did it and even more so with Flemythal, and when Solas did it I had enough.
I. Cannot. Stand. It!
ugh...
Why must ancient knowledgeable beings be so freaking obtuse? Why I ask you? It's really not helpful and it sure as hell doesn't help build trust whatsoever.

All elven gods/people related to elven gods take an exam in how to be infuriating and mysterious.

Exactly, last game, I made him strip before the big showdown, LOL!
Dear Fen'Harel:
I can forgive your disappearance, I can forgive the fact that you hid your identity. What I cannot forgive is that you didn't trust me enough to explain to me why you have to destroy this world. What's going to happen? Perhaps if you explained, we could at least understand why killing MY PEOPLE is a good idea. Otherwise you just seem like an elitist mage who thinks that everyone else just isn't "good enough."
If you truly loved me, you would trust me. If you gave me the facts, perhaps I could help you to a better solution. But you didn't and you don't. Even after all your mistakes you still think you're the only one who has the answers. So now, I must oppose you, and I must oppose you based on the limited knowledge you've shared. In trying to protect my world, I may be contributing to its demise, and I won't know because you didn't trust me with the truth.
I thought, Dread Wolf, that you believed in freedom: freedom of body, of spirit and most important, of THOUGHT. If you truly believed in those freedoms, you would have told me the truth and damn the consequences. But you don't really believe, do you? You only believe in freedom of thought for yourself and your kin.
You're just another Magister come to taint the Golden City city again.
I take as my motto the words Fenris said to his beloved Champion: Only the Living Know Victory! Fight Well! I will fight well. I will know victory. I will live.
