Yes it was, I was surprised actually. I made sure my Inky personally took care of him for his error in judgement.

Same for me; Anchor Blast detonating a pile of gaatlok. Live by the Qun, die by the Qun.

lol the reason you do not see the countless threads of disappointment is that we gave up and abandoned this game, u know?

Just pass by to see anything new. Nothing, I guess. Good luck with the failure, fanboy. Dont be another Final Fantasy.

I really, really loved this game and I just created a forum account to say so.

I'm actually surprised so many people find so many things to criticize about DAI. No game can be perfect as it always comes down to personal taste in the end.
But DAI presented us with so many different ways to experience the game that it could be easily tailored to individual preferences and this is something quite rare in AAA titles. I would describe it as a highly inclusive game and have only praise for Bioware that they pulled this off.
There's a tremendous amount of hard work and team effort behind DAI that shines through in so many things big and small, it's just amazing.
I played lots of games in the last 15 years but have never experienced such a strong emotional connection to a game like this before... to the characters, the world as a whole and the story, too.

DAI would feel incomplete without Trespasser but it also made me wish to continue playing as the Inquisitor in DA4 even more.
(... if that means she'll be killed off for dramatic reasons though, I'd rather have her and hubby Cullen alive and retired. Just feels like her story arc isn't finished yet and she should be the one dealing with Solas...)

Alright, so thumbs up all around!

This assumes that I think that Isabela is a shallow character. I don't.

I do.  But then I think of most DA2 companions that way if for no other reason than that they have every reason not to be in the crap stain which is Kirkwall yet continue to flounder there for a decade.

I can't stop playing this game, I love it. Can't wait for more, wish we could have more dlc, have scout Harding as a playable character. I love closing rifts, exploring, getting to know the characters, the DA universe really appeals to me with conflicts between mages, chantry, templars, the stress between the qun and chantry, the complexity of DA is what keeps me coming back, I think I'm on my 5th play through

DAI is my favourite of the series and one of my favourite games. The addition of DLC and Trespasser have made it a 9/10 for me.

Excellent experience and great characters :)

Yes i have immensely enjoyed the game. Weekes has perfected the lore by revealing us to how magic was really sundered from the world of the elves. Branching out to Ameridan and the titans have also greatly added to the historical depth of thedas. I WANT A MOVIE.

They should make a CGI film on the rise of Fen-Harel in Arlathan and RELEASE IT IN THEATERS

I'd suffocate with passion for sure.

Judging by people's reactions, this Trespasser must be the Shadow Broker / Citadel of DA:I.

Not a bad comparison. But all three DLC added to the main gane. Trespasser just happened to set ip the next one while giving great "closure" for the companions new and old for the time being.

I´ll keep it short: I really loved the game and all the DLC´s, yes I even liked the armor packs. :)

Bioware has yet to disappoint me, I´m just waiting for ME: Andromeda now (I´ll just pretend I never saw the ending of ME 3 and everything is fine xD).

Nope, DAI is the worst game BioWare has ever created. Yes it's even worse than DA2 imo. DA2 actually had a story, unlike this one.

DAI Pros:

-Graphics

DAI Cons:

-**** story

-Bad Characters

-Boring Fetch quests/Side Quests (I really hate this one)

-Grinding

-Half-assed open world with nothing to do in it

-Tactical Camera

-Basically an offline MMO

Maybe its better with DLCs, but I haven't played them as I cant be bothered to play this nightmare again.

2/10 Epic Fail...

Still playing it, and guess I will continue doing so (although maybe not as much) all the way till ME:A. So yes!

Overall I think, this is the best game Bioware put out since DA:O. At least concerning RPGs. The dialogue options seem to be rather diverse and as opposed to ME3 don't run on autopilot.

There are two things bothering me immensely though. First and foremost, when it comes to PC controls and UI, this is the shoddiest port I've ever seen. After about ten minutes I hooked up my Xbox controller, since this was more than frustrating with keyboard and mouse. I haven't used the controller in more than two years. And I don't see any reason why they haven't implemented the same set of controls they already had with DA II (only played the demo) or the ME series, which works just fine on the PC.

The second point would be your underlings in the camps just going about their business while you are slaughtered virtually under their noses. It breaks immersion in a big way.

But these are just two points I feel in need to point out. They don't take away from the overall enjoyment.

in short no.

I thought It was a ok game but I realized that after a time that it is hideously boring. Even if DAi has its big moments I would never play it before DAO (best game of them all).

If someone would ask me which game I would play Da2 or DAI I would say: DA2

I'm a little confused by that last bit. How would DAI with ME controls differ from what we got? WASD moverment, mouselook, pause, number keys to activate powers... those are all the same, aren't they? Though ME has cover stuff, of course, and you have to keep clicking the LMB to attack instead of just holding it.
