My current computer is 5 years old, so I decided to order a new one that could handle 2016 games:

Do you think I will be able to run the game on ultra settings at 1920x1080 and still manage 75fps+ average

A bit early for this topic my friend. But I guess If you can run Inquisition in max setings you will get a somewhat decent performace in Andromeda.

was hoping a dev would see this and comment, they should have a good idea of the system requirements by now. Hopefuly there will be a MP beta like there was for MP3 so we can test the graphics and see if optimization is needed
Hope that will be enough, because if a pc like this one can't, then no pc can (titan sli doesn't count
)

Settings haven't been finalized. But if you want to ask a developer something you have a better chance for a response by asking on twitter as teh developers don't really visit here anymore.

Agreed if that PC caqn't handle it then we're all screwed as that's pretty much as good a PC spec as you can get these days. Let's not forget that Andromeda is aldso being released for consoles swo BW have to make the game with that in mind as it's not PC exclusive. As @inquisitor jonah said if your machine can handle DAI then Andromeda shouldn't be a problem seeing as it's the same engine powering it.
Seems legit.

its good to keep in mind that PC ports often run a lot less efficiently when done poorly, so a console may have an easier time running a game than a PC if its a PC port vs a console port
Seems legit.
pics or it didn't happen? I can provide those in a couple weeks when it ships

Competitive game playing is about the only reason to insist on high FPS. Other than that, insisting on Ultra when High gives you the same visuals (ie: little discernable benefits) is silly, imo. Same goes for other video settings which can place huge demands on the graphic card and the PC (ie: basically a higher electrical bill).
Frankly, I preferr that Bio concentrate on a small but essential points:
1. Story
2. Game play
3. Good console to PC port with FPS restrictions based on video settings.
Everything else follows item #3.
Game publishers insistance on "awesome" graphics forces a lock of 30FPS for consoles, which interestingly enough trickles to the PC even though enthusiast and higher PC hardware can run the game at 60fps or more. MOAR interesting is this article:

What? I guess we have a misunderstanding. I only meant the the specs "seemed legit" as in able to run the game.
You're too defensive. ![]()

You should have written "bullshit" or any other profanity in the thread name. They would certainly read it. Trust me! I checked it out.
