"space cowboy"...?
"Ghost Riders in the Sky"...?

The way this game is looking so far, 'This is not a Firefly spin-off' seems about as accurate as a paint-by-numbers done by a blind man.

Well I hope not I simply cannot take him seriously....I find him rather comical I would feel akward.
Also NO to space cowboys! NO!
Oh, no... no, no, no, no... good God, no. This is Mass Effect, not some Firefly spin-off.

yes, plz!
I like Nathan Fillion, wouldn't mind him portraying the protagonist.
If he is in the game,Hopefully it's not the protagonist and just some secondary or minor character. If he is the voice for the protagonist then ill play female explorer as usual.
I'd play it.
I don't care that I'd be thinking of Malcolm Reynolds every time he opens his mouth.

(sorry if this derailing the thread, but I'm going to keep posting 40k heresy memes for fun regardless. sorry)
I might even play the male protagonist.
I'm not worried since I'll most likely will be playing femRyder
I generally find myself feeling a bit indifferent toward the male VA's for BioWare's protagonists. Someone like Fillon would probably change that. No doubt I'd be thinking too much of Firefly since I watched that and Serenity like dozens of times by now, but still.
I would prefer that it not be him because all the roles he seems to take doesn't come across as serious as BioWare tends to make their protagonists, so even if he tries to take on a more serious character I can't see him that way. Now as a secondary character or companion I could see fitting into him better such as the new Pilot of the ship.
So you guys are type casting him. You don't think he has the range. Okay, then I hope he's the villain.

The year of the Fillion

Nothing against Nathan Fillion. But, hell no.
No!!!!!
I would not care for him as the player character. I think nathan has range and the chops to act in sci as not mal or buck. But let's face it, that's what's popular and will move product. So if they were to cast him as the voice of the player character than pretty much all character customisation and depth can go out the window. Everyone will just play him as malcolm reynolds.
As much as I love fillion, no to protagonist voice. Him as a villain though.. that'd be awesome.
