Gr8 job mgamerz. A question : why does it show "3" in the pie chart for AP-->
3 is a magic number:
One can always be nicked by the Pyjack, the one carried by the courier... Yeah, we all know what happens to the courier. So we end up with the third always at our disposal.
Those are percentages. Unfortuantely, I the charting library I used doesn't allow me to set a suffix (a real downer!). That 3 is a percentage out of the total pack contents the chance you have at getting 1 card from that pool.
2 slots out of 5 can drop a card from goldultrarare: 40%
goldultrarare in those 2 slots have a limited chance: 7.5%
40%*7.5% = 3%.
Really wish I could put in % signs.
Thx for the explanation Mgamerz. Do you mind if I suggest an improvement? Those are percentages. Unfortuantely, I the charting library I used doesn't allow me to set a suffix (a real downer!). That 3 is a percentage out of the total pack contents the chance you have at getting 1 card from that pool.

On the right side it says per slot (or rather, per uniquely defined drops, as sometimes it slots are duplicated from the same pools).Thx for the explanation Mgamerz. Do you mind if I suggest an improvement?
The 5 slots are mutually exclusive from one another.
So it's like a dice that is rolled for each one of the slots, independently.
The implication is that UR's doesn't get a lesser chance (only 3%) :Those 2 slots doesn't directly compete with those other 3 slots to get picked (not diluted).
Hence, a more accurate representation would be to have 5 pie charts per pack.(1 for each slot).
Also, when there are similiar items (on exhibition), in both two independent slots, the chances are not doubled but improved. ie the chance of *at least* getting 1 dime to fall on its head is higher when I throw a bucketfull of dimes in the air instead of only throwing one dime in the air ( although dimes have only 50/50 chance alone).
(Magic word is *at least*)
Yeah, it's not trivial to display those all in a compact way. Ideally some of the numbers that are displayed at the bottom should be visible in the chart. Have u considered using a closely spaced stacked bar? Ie likeOn the right side it says per slot (or rather, per uniquely defined drops, as sometimes it slots are duplicated from the same pools).
Yes the left is misleading... I couldn't figure out a way to represent an entire pack though.
I was thinking about it... but then, on mobile, that doesn't work cause you can't really hover. I couldn't find any good libraries that could make that kind of graph either. I'm using Charts.js but I've used Google Charts.
All these numbers is just like fighting Shredder.

Just need to know if Spectre and PSP equal out in UR drop rate.
No. They r not the same. All these numbers is just like fighting Shredder.

tl;dr
for UR (only) buy AP, ... or RP / PSP [RP != Recruit Pack]
for UR & Shotgun Amps (etc.) buy SP
Partially correct, but needs to be explained:tl;dr

No. They r not the same.
Fig 17. p36 sp=7.5% and psp 14.44%.
Fig 18: Avg probable credit expense till drop sp=800k, psp=685,7k.
So all else equal, psp is quicker and cheaper than sp for UR weapon.
For stuff like gear SP is better.
That will do.

Partially correct, but needs to be explained:
1) SP delivers a *silver* upgrade "shotgun amp" weapon mods. This is a non-consumable item.
2) There are also consumables in the equipment slots called "shotgun rail amps"
The beautiful German word "Korinthenkacker" comes in my mind, ...
But of cause your are right. Is was talking about the "Shotgun Rail Amp" (III if possible), and I'm sure you did know this. ![]()
Thx. Nico. Yeah, I'll keep the word "niete" in mind for silly mistakes like that.... and I'm sure you did know this.
I didn't know the difference up until your post. Really. I just mix it up as I go.
No way, ... so that's a topic for the confession thread: http://forum.bioware...mp-confessions/

I substitute VI amps to help ease the burden of my fave amps. Phasic and VIs are the main reason I don't ever remove Retaliation DLC.

those are great, ... if you can aim for the head. I can't. ![]()
And those VIs doesn't benefit that much for bosses, aren't they?

^ I've never done it once nor was I ever tempted too. So...
Sometimes I can still play this game for an entire day. Though past 2 days I haven't touched it. Been catching up on new corporate hack Star Wars movie backlash. Watched the original yesterday and going to watch Empire today. ... Also thinking I should finally play KotoR, since I have it but never played it.
