First of all, hello to everyone! This is my first post on this forum so I'm not ever sure if this is the right place to start. It says fan creation, so here I am. If this is wrong location or this kind of thread is forbidden, please accept my apology and, if it's not big of a trouble, move it to right location or remove completely. Thank you.

So, lets start from the beginning. Since I'm a big fan of Mass Effect franchise and a big fan of Bioware itself (you guys make simply the best RPGs) I had this idea of pc case modding in ME theme. I know, there were few of the same before, but since we are expecting new game, my spirits went up so I wanted to do it anyway.

Here are few quck drawing of what I might do.

Since the case I'm going to use is micro atx (37*41cm), the M8 assault rifle and N7 armor will be in smaller form as well. More is to come.

I hope you'll find something of interest here. Until further updates, have a good day!

I want to thank the moderators for allowing this thread!

The case I'm goin to use is an old brand name, and general idea was tocut the side panel, make a tinted window, remove 3.5" cage for AIO watercooling, make different departments for PSU and custom 3.5" cage, and few other things.

Carbon foils I'm going to use:

And front mask.

You'll notice that there are few mistakes made while applying foil, but that area will be covered with custom N7 logo, so I believe that in the end everything will come to its place!

Until next update, best regards!

Hi, it's been a while since my last post. I managed to do some work and here it is.

vaZdpMH.jpg

I had to do 2 way split of covers because I couldn't fit it inside the case.

PXknhjG.jpg

This is how I'm gonna keep it together.

After working out rust protection, I applied foil.

There are few thing left to do, one which I forgot and that's leaving a hole for CPU power cable and other is putting blue and red foil under symmetric angle but since the cover isn't made out of one piece it could make some problems but I'll figure something out. I always play "Paragon" so I might just leave it this way.

This is it for now. Next thing on the list is making custom front mask and side panel because I decided to abandon case's front panel side panel. Until then, best regards.

Hi to all of you. It's been a while since my last post. I managed few quick phone shots from  work in progress so here it is:

As I previously said, I changed front mask and side panel and made this one piece panel. Next in order is powder coating and foil.

Until next update, best regards!

Hi, me again. It's been a while since last update.

2 major changes on mod. Well, one is certain and 2nd, I'm still thinking on.

1. I changed M8 Avenger to M-77 Paladin because M8 doesn't look good in smaller scale and is quite difficult to make in smaller version. 1:1 is too big for mod. Paladin is more in natural size...

2. N7 Armor will probably be chaged as well because of the same reason as M8 - the size. Yet, I'm still not sure what to make of this so it's under revision.

As for M-77, I started modelling it and so far this is what I accomplished:

Next phase would be to make another one liek this and glue them together and make some finishing lines and after that add more details to make it look like a real thing and paint it...

Until next update, best regards!

I continued my work on M-77 Paladin and this is what I made so far:

Makeing 2 identical was a difficult job but I did it anyway :) Next in line is gluing these together and applying finishing mass and coloring it...

That's it for now... There are still some details to be done on Paladin and on side cover of the case and something new on the back of the case and then I'm going to work again on the inside of the case... Until then, best regards!

There are few things to do on the outside, like stand for Paladin, back side of the case and footing of the case... To be honest, back side is giving me headache because I don't have idea what to do. I mean, I know what to do but implementation is rather complicated :) Until next time, best regards!

I don't know much about PC building (nothing at all tbh) but isn't it going to overheat really fast with the foam on it? Do you have good vents?

I'm not sure I understand you...

The hardware I'm going to use in this one won't be "fancy" because I didn't ask for any sponsorships, so, currently I'm gonna go with what I already have as my "spare" rig -  I3-4130, H81 mb, 8GB DDR3 and GTX 650 and all that doesn't need much power and therefore temperatures are low. Design does increase temperatures but it's all well under control. There will be one 10cm fan combined with 12cm psu fan that will act as exhaust and there is one 12cm on Seidon 120V that will act as intake and I'm thinking about adding one more 10/12cm fan on the bottom of the case as intake but will see about that...

I got lazy, sorry for that. :) I needed to redesign interior of the case because I needed better temperatures and more space for work so, this is what I came up with...

I even sleeved the fan cable. First time doing that :)

Hope you like it so far...

Even though I haven't abandon side panel plexiglass window, I still went for "mesh" side panel for simple reason - I had mesh on me :)
