Favorite Powers in Single Player ("Signature", "Common", and "Bonus")

Just a simple "what's your favorite?"

 

What I mean by "Signature" Power is the unique powers, i.e. Biotic Charge, Tech Armor, etc.

and by "Common" powers, I mean the ones that classes share, i.e. the Sentinel and Engineer both have Overload.

"Bonus" should be fairly obvious, where you pick one after creating/importing your character in ME3.

 

 

 

Favorite Signature:

1) Biotic Charge

2) Nova

3) Tech Armor

 

Favorite Common:

1) Incendiary Ammo

2) Overload

3) Warp

4) Throw

 

Favorite Bonus:

1) Flare

2) Warp Ammo

 

NOTE:  I meant to ask about favorite "Combo" too, i.e. it doesn't have to be a game mechanic-type like Biotic combo or Fire explosion, unless it is.  But also "strange" tactics that heavily involve powers or power-strings that don't necessarily "combo" counts too for purposes of this thread.

 

Favorite Combo(s):

1) Incendiary Ammo (shotgun blast) -> Charge -> Nova -> repeat

2) Overload -> Warp -> Throw

Hmmmm....

 

Favorite signature power:

1) Biotic Charge

2) Concussive Shot (I think every Soldier playthrough I completed in ME3 has used it)

 

Favorite common power:

1) Throw

2) Sabotage

 

Favorite bonus power:

1) Fortification, maybe? I think I have used Fortification the most.

Not sure I have a favorite bonus power. 

 

Favorite 'combo':

1) Claymore to the face

2) Sabotage > Overload; Sabotage > Incinerate; Sabotage > alternating Incinerate > Overload combos; Sabotage > any detonating power

Signature
Biotic Charge - mostly because it is relatively similar to the ME2 version.

Common
Overload - it does many things fairly well, and is useful on every mission.

Bonus
Proximity Mine - more damage is always good.

Signature: Biotic Charge.

While I have I never played a full game as a Vanguard, no power is as cool as turning yourself into a black hole missile.

Common: All the ammo types.

Very helpful on higher difficulties. I like the change up.

Bonus: Carnage.

I just love that ****** red blast of energy. Use it every time on my replays. So destructive.

Favourite powers are hard to define because they do tend to shift depending on what I am enthusing about at any given time, but the ones I've consistently gone back to are:
Tech Armour with Fortification for a Tech Armour Turian style run through like Rizty Foxx.

 

Combat Drone, Sentry Turret and Defense Drone as demonstrated by Red Caesar.

 

Proximity Mine is also good fun and I go back to that from time to time.

Favorite Signature:

none - I use tech armor for the power boost only. charge is nice for a short MP match, but I don't like the frenetic style of play for an entire game. combat drone is fairly useless. pull is better than singularity. concussive shot is generally more useful than adrenaline rush. cloak is nice for shotgun infiltrators, but I am not into that playstyle.

 

Favorite Common:

Overload - CC, damage to anything and everything, hitscan

Throw - ultra fast detonator

 

Favorite Bonus:

Armor Piercing - frees up a mod slot for my weapons (particularly the Hurricane where I need at least a stability mod, plus I prefer a power amp mod over an HVB.)

Fortification - provides a power boost equal to that of tech armor.

Reave - multiple booms when combo'ed with Liara's Singularity

 

Favorite Combo:

Incinerate>Overload

Inferno Grenade>Chain Overload
