Holy crap, that's awesome! It's like Quentin Tarantino made a space-themed p0rn movie about Rock-em Sock-em Robots.
I think the balancing argument is weak compared to the overwhelming fact that most here have a strong emotional connection to this community. Many here may even prefer this place over that of Facebook and other social outlets and that puts out a big statement as to just how much value is placed here. A "Jewel" as someone previously stated. Friendships, relationships and even a marriage was birthed from here despite this social hub being one of the most toxic I've ever come across and even the mods agree to that when they deleted the private groups. (Toxic Sub Communities) I think they called it lol.
Most here like things the way they were/are and wouldn't have it any other way and something like a dreaded PVP community will threaten what's been cultivated here over the past 3 years. I personally would like to see a PVP mode and it's own section but of course I highly doubt it would happen.
They'd have to re-work the entire game to make PvP work in Mass Effect. Imagine fighting a 200% nova guard. Literally all he'd have to do is be the first one to push a button. I'm not strictly opposed to the idea of PvP, but Mass Effect just...isn't made for it.
That being said, I do believe that player-controlled enemies could be interesting. Imagine having to chase down an actual human on a target objective that was using actual strategy and an actual thought process to stay as far away from you as possible.
