Well, that would add more realism to the game. Once a month, anyone playing as Fem Shep would only be able to reply with renegade options.

Have people forgotten that there was an epidemic of scale itch, an std, on the SR2 in ME2?

I remember very clearly that in the original Wasteland (circa 1988) you could catch an STD from a prostitute who is standing, two-dimensionally, in a little nook between two buildings. So this would not be entirely new ground.

Every fable has had stds too that you can get from anyone. But all it meant was an arbitrary number in your character stat screen.

I liked that web link.  I can now "play" with the builds suitable for my play styles.

 

Looks like there are "interesting: bugs still around with the MP.  Last night I was searching for a bronze game but the "sysem" somehow jumped me into Gold.!!  At first I couldn't understand why there were so many mech spawning ... Then I thought it was Silver.. still I never seen attacks with two teams of two mechs each..... then I died like a douche.... and again..... but Hey... made it through while using only three medi-gels...

 

Seems like I might try it again... it's not as bad as I feared....

There's no reason to believe diseases would transfer between species from different planets.  It works on earth because all of the humans are fairly similar, and the cases of diseases transferring cross-species even on Earth are limited.

 

A disease that developed on Earth might not even recognize a Krogan as a possible host, let alone something from another galaxy.

Diseases in general have a really hard time crossing between species and it only becomes harder the more genetically different two species are, so a human and an alien, which share a total of 0.000000000% DNA, cannot infect one another with any kind of disease, which is why the Quarian immune system shenanigans was bollocks.

But yeah with Bioware being no stranger to portraying controversial subject matter in such a way that provokes thoughtful discussion on issues such as racism, homosexuality and transgendered people do you think it is about time they tackled the difficult subject of STDs and the consequences of unprotected sex?
