On a side note. a question. Ray spoke about ""We have a big investment planned for Dragon Age with more DLC coming in the next week or so." here. Is he just using a weird and very generic way of talking about RTO, or is he actually talking about something else?
With reference to "the next week or so," that would be RtO. But Dragon Age has a busy life ahead of it (the big investment part), and RtO is not the last you'll hear about from us (nor is Awakenings).

Microsoft is like a friend who constantly borrows your stuff and returns it broken, but you can't stop being friends with him because the other cool kids won't hang out with you. It's like waking up with a hang over even though you didn't drink. It's like finding out you have an STD but never had sex. It's like your waiting to cross the street but whenever you move a car cuts you off in 10 degree weather. It's like if Heeth Leger came back to life but with the acting talent of Michael Sara. It's like Angelina Jolie offered to make love to you but only if you made love to Michael Sara. It's like......Michael Sara...Ya that's pretty accurate...It's like if President Obama decided to fix the economy by placing a mandetory $1000 tax on cake. And finally it's like finding out all your specialization classes got.....wait....In closing....No hard feelings toward any of u guys at BioWare. You get a pass for making arguably the best games out there.

I'll work on seeing what kind of timeframe there is for PS3, but I likely won't have any info to update until tomorrow at the earliest, and even then the best I can hope for is a very rough estimate.
Thanks for looking into it. I know I'm going to be busy with ME2, but I can make time for DA:O.

I'm glad to hear you're keeping DAO going for awhile. It's one of my favorite games and I want to visit these lands all the characters keep talking about across Thedas. (Antiva, Orlais, Free Marches, Weisshaupt Fortress, Highever, etc.) And of course, more gear for our Mages and Rogues! Keep up the good work. I have it on PS3 so I'd be interested in hearing when RtO will be out for it. Couldnt get it on PC because I'd never get to play it with all the people I live with that use the computer.

Updated the original post with a little clarification. Xbox and PC will get the update within a day or two of the Xbox title update. The PS3 release date is still pending.
This is extremely disappointing on Bioware's part. Dragon Age, for being a multi platform, has been pretty much one sided... i think most PC users on this and previous forums about RtO will agree as well. Why so clueless about the ps3 version? even before RtO was announced it was always "available LATER for ps3". don't bother using the "sony cert takes too long..." excuse, just like the 360/pc launch, the ps3 version had first day dlc, you should've known what to expect how sony certification works by now how this works.

The PC is still getting it before the PS3. so you should be happy about that.CoS Sarah Jinstar wrote...
While I'm glad its finally officially coming. Its pretty obvious that the 360 is dictating DLC release dates. Pretty crappy that the PC users are at the whim of console certification processes.

For sure, though the PS3 from what I understand is an absolute nightmare to develop for. I'd imagine that prolly has alot to do with it. Really the only reason at all I'm bothered by it in the first place is the PC users were assured that the multi platform situation wouldn't affect the PC, sadly its not the case.

That's awesome news. U guys definitly deserve something for putting up with the constent questioning over the last week. Just so u know not all of us blame BioWare for the error. I personally blame Microsoft for whatever role it played in the update being released before you could properly test it. I wish it was the only reason I can't stand Microsoft.

I'd get your information straight it was not Microsoft who is at fault. They had RtO up but the overall problem did not come from RtO itself, but from the title update/patch. They pulled the patch and RtO because it was found out that they allowed a glitch to slip past. For all we know Microsoft released it when they were supposed to release it and it was Bioware who overlooked the problem.
While Microsoft does have it's share of crap to deal with I don't think this RtO fiasco falls on them.

I think that they will probably come out with a sequel to access these places. That's just my hypothesis but I'd like to hear others.
