I don't recall Bond wearing his beach shorts to seduce anyone and then kill the target. Refresh me.

Let's just go to PM so that we can fight there. Too many people. Wrong topic.

Bond has seduced many women and they in turn have seduced him. He even wore his beach shorts and exited the ocean dripping wet in slow-mo in Die Another Day. Let's not fight though :)

Not saying that many of them don't hold a cherished place in my heart, but... is there really any other kind?

I like Bond films but yes, they are all bad.

You're obsessed with her and you know it.... So does she :D

Actually, I wanted to claw my eyes out from how cheesy the video was

Beyonce? Meh. The thing with celebrities is that I don't know them, and since cynicism has taken away all my faith on humanity I tend to assume they are all jerks by default.

And if she were ever in a mission where that was the goal awesome, or if that is just how she likes to dress in her downtime again awesome, heck spontaneous missions where you get pulled into something while shopping on the citadel again fine. But if I'm raiding a building packed with gun toting mercs, or a collector ship gear the eff up.

Their goal was to create unique looks that helped define the character. First part was handled the 2nd part they worked against as it did the opposite and created impressions that were counter to the characters they were creating.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't prefer more... reasonable outfits. But to be honest, I was more annoyed by Shepard wearing full armor everywhere, in a game where most of the action took place in urban hubs.

He didn't kill her. The bad guys her husband worked for killed her since Bond used her to get to her husband and stopped their plan to blow up the plane.

Ah, that's right. Thanks.

I love it how Bond rarely actually cares that most of the chicks he bangs die, despite the high likelihood of it happening - either because they are embroiled in some plot and get killed due to association with Bond, or because they get killed to retaliate against Bond or lure him into a trap. He doesn't even warn any of them, he's basically just like:

"We'll bang, okay?"

Didnt he seduce that one Latina chick in Casino Royale (or the movie after that) in beach shorts? :P
I can't remember if he killed her though. She ended up dead, but I forget her actual relevance to the plot.
I love me some Bond though.

Nah, he just likes to have some sexy time with whatever that breaths.

Yes.

Connery did as well in the voodoo one.(actually he did it in like 3 of them)And he dropped one of the best lines ever after the "sex scene"(pg). He pulls a gun on her after she tries to get him and she says you wouldn't kill me after what we just did would you? His response, I wouldn't kill you first.

Minds blanking on the name. The dalton one where Felix dies. Not terrible in itself but the drug trade thing made it feel more like a Miami vice movie than a bond movie.

I don't know if it's fair to lump that CR in there. That one's an intentional comedy, and that iteration of James Bond is a literal sexagenarian.

I'm probably gonna get mad flak for this, but the new Casino Royale movie might be my favorite Bond movie ever. I like him as Bond to begin with, but there's something about a spy movie + gambling without too much ridiculousness in the plot that just fits Bond to me.

I see that as a issue as well but it's the lesser flaw to me. One of my favorite things about the citadel dlc is how you are dressed casual with no weapons when you go to a sushi place to meet a friend. I think you should be without armor and maybe just a back up weapon when you walk the citadel or other civilian area. Omega being the one possible exception. On the other hand if I'm raiding a warehouse on the citadel I'm getting my gear first or basically calling the ship and saying hey meet me here and bring the 3 bags marked A from my quarters. Or if you remain I your casual clothes have a mechanical penalty for it. Like weaker shields or a damage increase to reflect no armor. Hey add a small run speed boost so it's not all penalty.

He is my favorite bond. Quatam of solice is decent for a bond movie the rest of his are great.

He might be my favorite Bond too. I have a feeling that whoever replaces him won't be nearly as good.

Daniel Craig is my favorite Bond as well. I like how he acts how a spy actually would, rather than being too campy but still having a lot of good funny lines and the Bond charm. Plus all four of the films he was Bond in were done very well. Quantum of Solace is the weakest but still in the upper half of Bond films, Casino Royale and Spectre were both great, and Skyfall in my opinion is the best Bond movie so far(You can tell everyone really put their heart and soul into that one since it was the 50th Anniversary of the movie franchise and Dame Judy Dench's final Bond movie.).

Dunno about all that Cerberus stuff. You'd assume BioWare would want to distance themselves from one of main enemies of the old galaxy and protagonist, or why else relocate to a new galaxy.. The Milky Way was probably 1% explored? Other than that speculation the Omni Tool advancements sound neat, and finally maybe a blonde.

I'm really not liking the sound of having to manually control the ship to navigate the gaalxy/cluster.

Well knowing BioWare it will be a 20 second thing to do to hide load screens. Like driving it to a Mass Relay(or whatever the new galaxy will have) or setting course for light speed or something, and then a cut scene will take over.

Apparently, in the minds of some.

Yet it was Bioware who insisted on giving her cameltoe and a deeply wedgied ass and not allowing us to forget these features. There's a fine line between sexy / attractive and going so OTT as to make it repulsive, and Bioware crossed that line for some of us.

Projecting... what exactly?

You narrow all that she is as a character down to cameltoe and ass shots, and use this to justify calling her shallow. If that's all that you can see in such a character because you can't get past it then it's you (and others that think like this) that is shallow. Like I said, projection.

However, note that a lot of Jacob's outfit is made up of the same stuff as the catsuit.

No.  Both outfits are made from a simple mesh with a texture applied to it.  The TEXTURE is the material or stuff and it is entirely how the texture is done that makes it look ass-cracked or camel toed (to a greater degree than the mesh itself does).

Yeah, I'd much rather just select a location and have the ship zip there and then we simply choose to land a team there.

Manually flying a huge ship somewhere (rather than leaving that to an AI) is setup, me thinks, for some space battles (which would also be better handled by AI for the most part).  I didn't mind the way distance travel was handled in any of the games.  Go to galaxy map, select a destination, you go there.  On the far end it could be done better than just scanning a planet and launching a probe.  Mix it up.  Sometimes a simple probe (or drone) is the best move, others call for a landing party.

Oh, and as for blondes in the game...they've been available from ME2 at least.  There was one Miranda texture mod that gave her the blond hair of her real-life model and voice (Strahovsky).  You could also make your Shepard blond(ish) though that comes with an automatic loss of IQ points for Shep.

I wonder if they'll be different versions of the mako.

Maybe they'll let us level it up, customize the colors, wheels, weapon armaments, modified ammo types?!

Wow.

Imagine having a mako gun turret, modded with cryo ammo and the canon modded with armor piercing rounds!

Wait, what?

This is the quote that started this discussion:

SO wait, the people pointing out how shallowly portrayed her appearance is are the shallow ones?

You seem to be conflating "all she is as a character" with appearance.

If that's all that you can see in such a character because you can't get past it

It isn't all I see in the character, nor did I ever suggest that it was.

then it's you (and others that think like this) that is shallow. Like I said, projection.

Again - projection of what?

Interesting, but we've known some of these details and others I'm not going to believe just yet.
