Seems to be this timeline BUT you never know, you might get your wish.  After all I got mine

 

Book 4

 

1 star - 30th October

2 star - 6th November

3 star - 13th November

4 star - 20th November

5 star - 27th November

 

Book 5 - 4th December

 

Double Exp weekend - 11th December

 

This puts the "5th Star" of Book 5 at 1st-4th January, which is stated date for end of limited time events.

Support is going to end soon, I figure Bioware should go out with some big events.  Four day holiday XP event is sure to bring back players.  That and a lot of tears flowing from the folks forced to travel for family get-together

The team has moved to ME:A already.

 

I'd personally love Double/Triple/Quadruple EXP and Gold on dates 25 Dec - 3 Jan  ....for no particular reason

That said, there are still 80 points unaccounted for the in the HQ...  book 5 will give 25 points?   I wonder what the rest are.  So, you never know.

For a few days after HB debuted, there were in fact three 250 HB challenges - one per faction. And I second this.

I am also off from the third week of December until second week of January. Forced to take my holidays or lose them. Great chance to take advantage of a big blow out finale.

Since the last challenge ends the first week of January, doesn't that mean there should be one last event after the next book? It would be nice to have some kind of big bang event that the devs put in motion long ago. Wishful thinking perhaps.

Why do I think the challenge is going to follow suit with the rest & just be 'play DAIMP?' This time it'll probably be dragons again, which is helpful to me if it is as I could finish off the Legendary Dragon Hunter challenge, still, only a few days until we find out for sure.

I suppose I am not really looking forward to 4th December in a weird kind of way.

 

Chasing the Crescent's Shadow is driving me at the moment to play this game.  When Book 5 gives me 3 of them at once I am not sure what will make me log on anymore.

 

So I approach next week with a kind of sadness in my heart, much the same as when Planetside died from BFR's, FFXI died from Abyssea and the 80 cap and when FFXIV v1.23 died to Meteor and Bahamut (A Realm Reborn is not the same)

 

I can only hope the new challenges have some girth to keep me playing through December.  Never really been that much of FPS or FPSRPG's (after Planetside of course) ....Planetside 2 is NOT Planetside on so many levels.

Could you elaborate on this more? Didn't we get all the stars of book 4 at once with that month-long event? Burned through them all yesterday since I had extra time and it looks like it went through okay.

Yes.  You get them all at once but those are the dates they would have been released if it was still weekly challenges.

 

You will not see book 5 until the week after those dates have passed.    

 

Those dates were just me working out when book 5 will appear.
