Actually I think someone asked along the way why 4th January was the last date for challenges

 

 

This puts the "5th Star" of Book 5 at 1st-4th January, which is stated date for end of limited time events.

I wonder what the challenge would be... kill 10 commanders for each faction?

Unlikely as they already proved they cannot split challenges on faction type as seen with the HB debacle.

Could be standard challenges we used to see every week. Like we are all expecting

Or...I have a deep sense of forboding they may be drawn out marathons as it's the final challenge.

Could go either way.

Gut feeling is a mix of very easy challenges and a couple of spider/large creature type challenges to keep you going for a while.

The team has moved to ME:A already.

 

I'd personally love Double/Triple/Quadruple EXP and Gold on dates 25 Dec - 3 Jan  ....for no particular reason

That said, there are still 80 points unaccounted for the in the HQ...  book 5 will give 25 points?   I wonder what the rest are.  So, you never know.

 

I'm hoping those remaining points are linked to the 'surprise' that Luke mentioned so long ago. The one he said he was working on all on his own, maybe it will be the going away Christmas gift.

Weren't all of November's challenges faction-based? 300 Darkspawn, Qunari, Venatori, etc.

 

I'm expecting something equally accessible for all player types again. They essentially gave away endgame loot with the challenges in November, so I don't see why they wouldn't repeat that for the next month in an effort to put the few active and newer players on a similar playing field before support ends. One last opportunity for lesser geared players to catch up with the rest and finally rewarding those players who put in all the time but don't have the gear to show for it...makes sense to me.

Dragonlings.

 

You can get over 30 per game  or you can stay and farm them while watching a film/tv show.

Wasn't talking about dragonlings specifically, just 3 hours of grinding and done on whatever challenge they set up.

Yeah, if we could turn it into a double xp holiday event that would definitely tear me away from Fallout 4.

That only happens once and then you cling onto one of each type like grim death, I learned that with one of the other mace challenges.

That is true. Also I just saw, I have two maces left and they're even high level \○/
