Qun00, do you even acknowledge that there are some screwups? Or do you think Mahariel is actually middle aged?

 

Because they're Da'len.. they're not middle aged. And barely into adult age that Ashalle still mothers them about eating right and keeps family secrets "until they're ready".

 

Gaider wrote most of this stuff originally, but it looks like he was signing off when this book was being written.

 

And even if the word da'len is confusing, Varric calls them young in the Keep too.

And some of the npcs in the Dalish origin say that it would be a shame to lose two of their young.
