Firstly, no spoilers please. I tried googling this but due to massive spoiler amount, I had to ask help from you guys. So, all I basically would like to know is, does it matter if Rainier is released from prison by using Josie or by using Leliana's traitor? I always set Rainier free afterwards but I just want to know if the way of release itself has any effect in the last DLC.

 

Obviously I'm looking for the best possible outcome here for my Thom romancing inky. I just finished Trespasser with my Cullen romancing inky and the use of the traitor had no negative effect. Is this same for Thom's inky, as well? Thanks in advance.

Ah, okay. Thank you so much. I've had the game open and waiting for awhile now because I didn't dare to continue before being certain. I really didn't want having to go back and do everything all over again. Thanks again.

I think all that it changes is exactly how Blackwall criticizes you for it during the scene in front of your throne. The criticism I got for having Josephine spend a favor was probably relatively minor compared to what I'd have gotten if I'd used Cullen's option or either of Leiliana's. (Mind you I wasn't romancing him, but I don't know that Bioware would have this screw up the romance.)
