I have to say this is the first time I see a guy trying so hard to prove his clumsiness and ignorance with such a parade of lengthy nonsenses. I am impressed.
But again, I am unfamiliar with this type of trolling. Maybe I should just forget about this and walk away.

 

It's basically this kind of trolling.  Done right, it can be amazing.  I once had people "correcting" me on what language they spoke in France and how bears are not, in fact, Wiccans (long story).

 

It does, unfortunately, require you be smarter than your marks, and make the statements completely outrageous.  Otherwise, it just looks like you're being a ****** for the purposes of finding an argument.

I don't think the shield boost bug is limited to volus, I think it can also be triggered by the geth turret, and the escort drone.  Basically outside influences that restore shields. 

 

It can definitely be caused by the Geth Turret. It is much rarer because the Turret's version isn't AoE, and will only apply the effect to a player who has actually taken shield damage. In the case of Volus Shield Boost, the power will effect everyone in the AoE, regardless of whether they have taken shield damage.

 

I'm not sure which other sources can cause the bug. I've never seen it with a drone, but that only means that it's probably rare if the drone can cause it. If the drone's ability functions the way the Geth Turret's does, then it would be even rarer, simply because the Drone is only an issue on those RNG occasions that it comes up in specific objective waves.

 

I wonder if Supply Pylon could cause it?

 

Supply pylon can do it as well. Rare, but not unheard of.

 

Last night I was playing the Cabal on Glacier. Wave 3 hack, the GE tossed his turret next to me as I reloaded my Hurricane, the turret shield boosted me, I was suddenly locked out of Biotic Focus, and taken down by a Marauder before I clocked what had happened

Well I was going to quietly back away from this and go my own way. But well your post deserves a responds.

 

I stand by my claim.

 

When I took down a Banshee alone and at near point blank range using a Hornet I with extra mag and extended Barrel 3 on gold. Thanks to my ability to near infinite cloak and auto heal any damage taken to shield.  And yet it did take me a long long long long long long time to finally kill her.

 

I'd hesitate to try that with any other class besides Geth Jugger. And yet the little Vol managed to pull it off.  I consider that a little unbalanced. Which I know isn't new to this game but still.

So you think the volus needs to be nerfed just because he spammed a thousand bullets into a banshee to finally kill her? 

I don't even... You do know that they are other/better ways to kill a banshee than just jugg meleeing her for 2 minutes right? Are you like new to the MP or what?
