You could try disabling your mods but if you've only got hair and cosmetic stuff I don't think they'd cause this. You could try using the Cheat Engine, it's got a god mode, though I'm not sure if it affects damage.A earlier saved game doesn't help.
I have not activated any of the trials.
Maybe a console hack then, if one exists.
Could a hair mod cause this? I never gave it any thought until now.
Haha! Worst boss fight ever.

This has to be the worst boss fight I have ever come across in my 25 years of gaming, and I still have not defeated Corypheus. Not because I found it to hard, NO he it is quite easy to fight, it was because it was so boring and drawn out.
After a hour, myself and companions had Corypheus health down far enough to then take on the dragon. After another hour or so we had managed to take around 2% health off the dragons front leg. After another half a hour I simply got bored out of my brains and switch the game down.
Is this how I'm suppose to loose, by getting that bored I give up? What a clever fellow that Corypheus is, kill them by boredom. What a disappointment. This was my fist full play through and I WAS enjoying myself up until this point.
An hour? Holy ****!
I dropped Cory within 5-10mins even on Nightmare. It sounds as though the fight on your end is glitched.
My advice would be: Reload the game to a save point before you click on the War Table quest "Doom upon the World." Save the game in a new slot. Leave Skyhold. Go some where, any where. Save the game in a new slot. Exit out of the game completely. Reload the game. Reload your save. Return to Skyhold. Save the game once again in a new slot. Now click on "Doom upon the world."
Generally when I have a buggy quest I do the above and it fixes it. Oh and yes Cory fight is boring. Oh so very boring.

Every time I have fought Cory he dies unbeleivably quickly. The fight with the pride demon before haven was more memorable. This includes nightmare + all trials.

First time fighting him was on normal so I expected him to be pretty easy. First time I fought him on Nightmare, I don't know what happened but we got him close to the side of the cliff and he fell off and died after that - and this was with him pretty much at 80% health. I didn't know whether to be happy or highly upset about that to be honest.
The demons (both the bosses and the random top level ones to spring out the rifts) were actually harder and more enjoyable than him and that says something cause I hate those despair demons with a burning . . . icy passion.

I just did In Hushed Whispers again today and the Alexius fight glitched out on me. Everyone had T3/T4 crafted gear thanks to the Golden Nug, and their damage output was insane. As luck had it, everyone just happened to get critical hits in that first attack, and Alexius's health dropped by 90%. He retreated to his force field bubble, the rift opened, and his force field bubble came down when the rift was closed, but I was no longer able to damage him. His health got bumped back up to 50% when the barrier came down, but no further attacks knocked him down even a single point. I had to reload the autosave, switch to worse weapons, and do the fight again.
Back in the day, I used to do a lot of Baldur's Gate modding, and sometimes, if an enemy was taking too much damage, their script would loop and they wouldn't die. I'm wondering if that's what's happening here.
Maybe try the fight with worse weapons?
