Spider farming recipe:

 

1 assassin with I was never here.

2+ Fear demons

 

Choose a difficulty that is not too easy, you want to one shot fearlings but not inadvertently one shot fear demons.

Get a map with demons and find a level with more than one fear demon present, the more the better.

Kill all other monsters but the fear demons.

Kill each fearling immediately upon spawning, restealth

Fearlings should spawn at a regular clip.

 

Most know that fearlings count for the challenge but the assassin allows precision to kill them without worrying about dying or inadvertently killing off the fear demons. If you get three or more fear demons going, you can get a nonstop stream of fearlings going. Will still take you ages to farm the challenge so this is only for those OCD folks who just have to complete this challenge.

The image may be gone, but anyone currently toiling away at the spider challenge felt just like the running dude on fire. Uh, long may the memory remain. Let his torturous demise stand for anyone who rushed a treasure room, only to find red templar horrors and archers. Or dead spiders.

I lost 300 spider kills during the recent server anomaly. If I change my icon, I lose the ability to use the 2500 spider kills icon until I get those kills back...
