If you could only get 1 of the DLC expansions, which would it be?

Trespasser. There's nothing technically bad about Jaws of Hakkon or The Descent, but Trespasser caps off DAI's story.

Since I haven't played descent or trespasser yet, I have to go with the Jaws dlc

Trespasser. It adds much more to the base game than the other 2, and it's story driven. You dont really need the other 2 to know how the story ends, but you need trespasser

I like all of them but I'd say Jaws is probably my favourite DAI DLC

Trespasser, for the story and lore. Trespasser is part of the DAI main story. The others are not.

 

 

Basically:

 

Trespasser - the final chapter in the main quest

 

JoH - a new open-world zone that is not part of the main quest, kind of like the zones you unlock in DAI

 

Descent - a long side quest

Trespasser. Though I love JoH too and Descent was...odd, but really good, I would have to say Trespasser is definitely the best in my opinion.

Trespasser, for sure. However, keep in mind that you CAN'T play Jaws of Hakkon or The Descent or any other part of the game once you start Trespasser without going back to an eariler save. There's a two year time skip and it cuts off everything else.

I'd have to say The Descent. The maps were beautiful, the music was wonderful, the story was interesting, had combat was fun, and gave us really interesting lore. 

 

Second place would be Jaws of Hakkon, and last is Trespasser.

Buy-um-all, they are on sale at the moment, and at the sale price I think they are worth it.  It gives another play-through, that full experience.

You might want to play the other two first since you can't do anything after Trespasser since it ends the game.

I haven't played Jaws or Descent, so comparatively speaking I have no idea.

 

But having played Trespasser, I will say that you haven't finished Inquisition if you haven't played Trespasser.

Gorgeous map (my fav color is blue) - Descent

 

In other words, break down and get all 3 when you can.
