Haven't got one to show at the moment but I thought I'd set a thread up where we can show off our wardens or Heroes of Ferelden if you prefer that title Seeing as both the Inquisitor and now Hawke have threads to be shown off I thought the Hero who starts it all should have one as well.

You do know that when you post Wardens with such adorable freckles, you are required to also mention which mods you used, right? 

 

They are all toolset Wardens, so this won't work in the CC: I start with a freckled texture (usually the one from the Dracomies textures included in Dragon Age Redesigned) and overlay that with freckle tattoos (susally the one called Freckles Plus), using two (or sometimes more) tattoo channels; I also vary the intensity and the colour of each tattoo 'layer', for a more natural effect... I've never been able to grok how all the modded face textures work (the blending is just beyond what my idiot brain can grasp), so I stick with what I can understand.

It's been a very very long time since that playthrough, but if memory serves me, those are just vanilla Dar'Misu daggers with meshes/textures replaced by  Adonnay's Weapon Replacer.

That Mod is kind of useless in DAI.... Causes the Keep will not allow you to do it, so you'll have to be a human noble. Yeah, you may have done it in DAO and DA2, but it's all worth nothing in DAI when the Keep tells you "Nope, only human nobles can be Queen of Ferelden." (If you manage to succeed in making your Amell queen of Ferelden in DAI, let me know. Cause I'd totally like to make my Surana the queen of Ferelden. Cool Mod.)

Sulli, Dalish Mage, married Zevran and played all the DLC.

 

Suki (Dwarf Commoner).. I never finished her Play-thru, but I still have her saves.

 

Lunalee, my city elf Rogue. She also played all the DLC.

@theskymoves I wondered if you'd used a freckle replacer mod.  Alas, I play natively on a Mac, so no toolset for me  I would love it if you could export and upload some of those freckle textures somewhere for use in the CC, though, because they are so lovely!

I'll have to look to see if I can find some of the others, but since CC mods mean I have to manually edit my chargen file, I'm a bit hesitant to use those that don't come with their own chargen files or that replace default tattoos unless I rename the files.

All the freckle mods I use and that are in that list are by other (read: real) modders... I've never made any textures or tattoos or other chargen mods. (I'm too inept to do anything like that.) My released mods were mostly useless things like bug and continuity fixes, annoyance tweaks, and adding some cut content back into the game. *feels more worthless than usual and that's saying something*

yeah that's one mistake Bioware seem to have repeated shame really as the DA2 selection is pertty spot on. I haven't felt the need to download any for Hawke. Especially as really you can effectively play a non combatant or at least someone who@s not neccessarily trained in it if you'er a mage/rogue so in DA there should be a fwe non combat style hairstyles. Played a warrior last time through DAO but this time when I next go through I was planning a  young female mage type look so was thinking I'll probably go with a less combat style option.
