^ That comic is killing me ![]()
I also posted in the above thread. But might as well post again because I can't resist.
1 I really need to know the mod of that Leliana because i wanted to change mine, not that i don't like her,but i need a change of look
It's not a mod as such, I just make new mor files in the toolset for each playthrough.
well is a super mor!
I thought that there was already a Thread show off for the Wardens of DAO,still refreshing to see all this new awesome pictures.

In fairness I never saw that I noticed the Inquisitor and Hawke had show me off threads in their sections and seeing as I couldn't see one for the warden at the time I thought I'd create one. guess that's what happens though when threads get old they drop down the order

Lily Brosca, my first warden to finish the game.
Only have small pictures of her.
Also, all the wardens have at least finished the main campaign and most of them did all the expansions as well.

Lythine Surana and Tatiana Tabris, both did the Ultimate sacrifice and both have way to many mods to hunt them back down for proper screenshots.
Some other mod mishaps who weren't too messed up:
And then the proper wardens.

Have to say your last one Carla is very pretty
Anyone have any good tips or tutorials for using the toolset to create ones own character? Honestly I haven't been able to get anything near this level by just using the in-game character creator.

Even with mods? (As a Mac player, I can't use the toolset, so I may be biased with respect to the in-game CC.)

Yeah, I'm pretty bad when it comes to being creative, they all end up being.. bland.

If the toolset doesn't satisfy your need for creativity, I recommend playing around with sliders in the character creator, especially the tattoos and tattoo colors. I also recommend the following mods (which you may already have, but they're worth giving a shout out for anyway):
...And I just realized I'm not sure I have the last two for Origins, though I have them (and love them) in DA2. I need to fix this.
Start the toolset.
Click File > New > Morph.
At the top you will see choose base.
HF_UHM_BASE for human female
EF_UHM_BASE for elf Female etc
Then just follow your nose, trying different things.
Ctrl & Right Mouse Button to move the head
Shift & Right Mouse Button to turn it around.
Save regularly. You save it as a .mrh file
The first two letters have to be the race & sex, then underscore & then the name ie hf_sally.mrh
To use it in the game you have to export it as a .mor
So in the object inspector, click along to export settings & make sure it says Export.mop file False.
Because you want a .mor & not a .mop
Then back up the top, go Tools > Export > post to local.
Then go File & search for the character & savegame.das you want to add the morph to.
Then expand SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR & then SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR again & then expand SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE
Then click on SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_NAME & on the right hand side type hf_sally (or whatever you saved your morph as)
Then click save.
If you were to save your human female morph as hf_genfl_leliana Export & post to local
Leliana would look like that.
Hmm, seems like there is room for error if you were a newbie at this, I'll try to follow this to a letter and see what I can come up with.
That's the spirit, just post if you have any trouble.I'll try to follow this to a letter and see what I can come up with.
It has been a while since I made morphs.. but I think you can also export as .mop and use as your first pre-set in the CC.

Yeah that's the hairstyles mod I've got. Got a lot of nice hairstyles in it too.
A lot of nice faces here. Must say i'm a bit surprised that so many of you make faces in the toolset. I stopped making heads in the toolset after I saw the issues it causes with fade transformations.

What do you mean by "fade transformations"?
~~Edited to add~~ Never mind.. I use "skip the fade". I did play thru it twice, but did not use a custom morph on my Wardens at that time.

I've never used the toolset so dosen't bother me

I don't but then it's one of my favouriet parts of DAO in fact about to do it again now. with my latest warden Louisa Amell.

I agree, I don't mind Lost in Dreams at all. In fact I'm in the middle of it with one of my current playthroughs.

Yeah I've almost finished it. Just need to get to Wynne and then take down Sloth. I like the shapeshifting in it especially using the Golem form to send an Ogre flying.Either way though it's one of my favourite missions.
To put this back on topic keep those wardens coming ![]()
SKIP the Fade is one of my MUST mods along with Zevran asap and SKIP Ostagar. Don't want to spend any more time than absolutely necessary to play the game without Zevran in my party. ![]()

My latest - DW rogue of Dalish origin. I haven't tried the toolset yet. I'm only beginning to feel confident in the use of mods. I might try it in one of these days though.
That is only if you add the morph to your saved game, & you can easily remove it to go through the fade.
If you save your morph as a .mop preset, then you will have no trouble with the fade.
I see. I usually don't add presets as I hate messing with the chargenmorph most times.
As far as the fade goes I mostly like it. It can feel like an annoying slog on some builds though...and my using FCR probably doesn't help that.
I'll post my DN when I find a good place for a screenie. Reminds me that I need to figure out how to do screenshots w/ Origin while using SweetFX 2.0.
